Just pasting the link to the video should do the thing automatically.

For example, when I'll put this link:

without even any BBCode formatting ('Media' or just 'Link'), then in the preview and the post it automatically turns that into a video.

If that doesn't work, then try using 'Media' Special BBCode like this:

[media]

~And in the preview/post it should turn that into a video.

Make sure the link is correct. From what I've noticed, some members had troubles with posting videos, because there was youtu.be (or something like this) instead of youtube in the link to the video.  ;)

So try these and check if that works by previewing the post.  :)

Hi, @Animation100!

To embed a YouTube video, you'll need to place your link inside of this code:

[media]Your URL[/media]
Make sure that you aren't using a shortened URL. Simply copy the link from your address bar. :)

For future reference, here is a list of other BBCode functions. Hope that helps!

And a little addendum to what has been said, mobile YouTube links will NOT always embed by placing the link in the text editor. For example, copying from a mobile app can do the following (the above referenced '.Be' link that Rikifive mentioned occurs on the YouTube app for 'copy link').
