If you have the power to make Equestria Girls a TV Show

Now we can all argee that Equestria Girls Specials can only have 3. But if you have the power to make Equestria Girls a TV Show what will you do with it? I know this is kind of like the wishlist topic but I only made 3 ideas because there's going to be 3 Specials is year. (I have little ideas on this being a TV show so I can only think of 3 and if there's going to be a EG 5 movie, it will probably be the last movie of the series in my world) What will you do with the development of the characters, the story arks, and the human world itself?

If one of my wishes could come true.... This is what I want to happen, when FIM ends... we get into Sunset and Twilights world... the only reason it couldn't work is because of continuity and people who haven't seen all the movies

I would have it focus mainly on Sunset since she has made the Equestria Girls brand into her own story, but I wouldn't ignore the other characters as that would deprive them of development and turn the concept into something dull.

I would make it be a 13 episode miniseries on Netflix, with each episode being 22 minutes long.

It would address the ending of LOE with the whole magic leaking through the portal into the human world.

It would be senior year, and the girls would still be adjusting to their new magical abilities, when all kinds of crazy things from Equestria would start showing up in their town and school.

Similarly to Digimon Adventure Tri, the mane 7 would be questioning their roles as protectors of this whole magical fantasy save the day stuff, while having to deal with their own personal issues such as school life and family life.

They would question whether or not they even want to continue doing so.

Given how graduation would be coming up, Sunset would also be wondering whether or not she should return back home to Equestria.

And than later on whether or not to keep the portal between the human world and Equestria open.

The girls end up keeping the portals open, and the series ends with them graduated and getting ready for what their new human world with it's own form of magic will be like.

Sunset would have made up with Celestia, and princess Twilight would make a few guest appearances.

Since it'd be for the old and new generations, I'd step it up a bit. Address topics like Love, bigotry, terminal illness, dealing with death and loss in general, all with lessons about how life CAN be awful, but it can also be wonderful, a lot of it being your attitude.

 

Teaching this and older generations the need to look on the sunny side of the street is by far extremely important given the fact most are getting their life lessons from shows like this weather they realize it or not.

 

I'd make going to the pony world a TREAT, not a crutch. In my opinion, and I'm not a Dr. Who fan, but I live with one, the interactions between Prime Twilight and Sunset, Celestia, ect, needs to be treated the same as when several Doctors get together: Something BIG has to be happening.

 

I'd have the entire gang meet themselves in a wonderfully kooky and comical episode and get that out of the way!

 

We'd need to address how these girls seem to not really have any jobs and how they survive. I would have liked to have known how sunset was going to pay for the drinks in that deleted scene. Interaction with modern technology and the comedy that could ensure could be done with Sunset having a flashback or explaining hear early years in the human world. Everyone loves being reminded of the past in one way or another, it would make the older viewers feel warm and fuzzy, and give the new ones something to wonder about and go back and buy the old movies.

 

While on the subject, I'd find a proper name for the world. Human world? Earth? Something to finally put that issue to rest.

 

We'd need to explore the governmental system in place. I've had to address this in my work as each city if a nation in itself, governed by a council elected by the people, while others are socialist, and others are monarchy based. On a side note, we'd also address how rather easy it is to just enroll in a high school in this world x_x

 

I'd have far far far more character development with all the secondary and some of the primary characters, as 3 Dimensional as they are, you can't make a character too real. In order to make a connection and urge viewership, this is vital.

 

We also would have to make the intro song..more...socially acceptable xD I still kinda cringe when the MLP song kicks in on screen.

Equestria Girls works just fine the way it is. A T.V. show based off the EQG movies would be very boring imho. I would love to see where the movies go, and I wouldn't mind if characters from EQG become canon in the actual show. I just don't want a show dedicated to EQG; if they wanna make a spin-off, they have SO many better options
