Seems like Starlight will have a major role after all, all this waiting finally paid off for me.

Here's hoping that Celestia isn't as incompetent as she usually is and that Starlight has a major role throughout the season.

Huh, Starlight's graduating...I agree with Lambda there, that feels too soon. Sure, what she did in the season 6 finale was great and a huge sign of progress, but she's still got a ton to learn about friendship. She seems a bit nervous about it though, maybe she agrees it's too early.

Nice to see the Changeling's, Discord and Trixie though, seems like this is following up right after the finale.

This is basically the impression I'm getting

Unfortunately it feels like we're getting yet another Starlight focused 2 parter

So I guess De Lancie was just throwing people off track, and eat it up Starlight haters haha, Hopefully they arent doing this to write her off on her last season, but I HIGHLY doubt this seeing as, they are emphasizing the friendship of her Trixie and Thorax there toward the end..

Even Starlight looks nervous... if this is the beginning scene of premiere, something bad may happen later or Starlight will mess up something after her graduation, that would be funny... Or, she is kidnapped by Chysalis amd everything is just a dream...

That scene is really AWesome and AWarkd at the same time... i dont know what to think about it... i should happy for Starlight but...

By a way, this preview look ten time interesting than Crystalling, hope it turn out goood

I wouldn't be surprised if she does mess something up right after graduation, maybe with the stress of this sudden event getting to her and making her freak out a bit. Twilight realizing she might have rushed her through things there. Not sure about Chrysalis showing up though, with this seemingly being right after last season's finale, it'd be a bit weird for her to already have formulated a working plan, it'd feel very soon.

Starlight's "graduation" feels WAY too soon. Twilight "graduated" into a princess after three seasons, while Starlight may be "graduating" after a few episodes. Clearly, she has a whole lot to learn about friendship, and her sporadic appearances last season following Tail (along with terrible appearances in both Every Little Thing and To Where) don't help matters.

I had the same thought about De Lancie. Either that or he simply forgot.

I'm quite pleased at this preview. I like that the staff are continuing the tradition of since Season 4 in having the finale be a narrative springboard of sorts.

This could have a unique mentor/mentee dual lesson. So looking forward to Celestia talking to Twilight about trusting Starlight and helping guide her to figure out how to get Starlight to trust in herself.

Been a while since I was this excited about a Premier.

Yeah I doubt Chrysalis is gonna show up with "Twilight seeks Advice from Celestia" and "Starlight fucks up the map and cast some sort of spell to bottle up her emotions" it'd be a bit much to go "O also Chrysalis tries to take over the world again"

Agreed on the part about John De Lancie. I'm pretty good at recognizing Suspiciously Specific Denial, and John's tweets had it written all over them. It's also the kind of stunt John would pull.

Also, synopses!

In the back-to-back premiere episodes titled “Celestial Advice” and “All Bottled Up,” Twilight Sparkle agonizes over Starlight Glimmer’s future and receives some much-needed advice from her very own mentor – Princess Celestia. While the Mane 6 are on a friendship retreat, Starlight Glimmer loses Twilight Sparkle’s friendship map. Afraid her anger might get out of control, Starlight Glimmer casts a calming spell while the ponies search for the lost map.

I could use one of those "calming spells," too.

Well, that is going to be a disaster.
