Thoughs on My Little Pony Ending

I made a video talking about my thoughts on upcoming seasons and when pony should come to an end.

I do make some jokes that some people would consider offensive, just keep in mind that they are jokes and I do not mean anything by them.

It's probably only going to end when Hasbro isn't making money off of it anymore. I'm not surprised at all that they still want to continue after the movie, it makes sense. Why end it there? If the movie performs well it's only going to rake in more money and make the show more popular, and unsurprisingly that's what they want.

 

 I'm not concerned about the show ending soon, nor do I want it to. I've thoroughly enjoyed all 6 seasons so far, liked all the EQG movies, and I'm still very excited for everything coming up this year. Sure, there's a chance that if things keep going the show might eventually start going downhill, but it might not either, it's a possibility, not set in stone. In my opinion the three most recent seasons are the three overall best, so the show's done nothing but get better, why end it then?

 

 I imagine we've got at least a few good years ahead of us.

My feeling is that the show will go downhill after the movie. If they use the mane six in season 8 then it will go downhill. If they use Starlight Glimmer and her gang in season 8 then the show still be good.

I agree with BasementSea, the show will probably still get a few years. And when it finally does fold, it'll just be replaced by Gen 4.5, hich will hopefully make for a great revival.

Pretty much this. The franchises that never die are the ones that keep selling merchandise. And even if Friendship is Magic doesn't stay around forever (which is inevitable since nothing lasts forever), that doesn't mean there isn't anything to look forward to once it's said and done. Hasbro will more than likely bring it back some years later. It will be a while, but it'll be around in some capacity.
