Is My little pony G4 gradually gonna get a new mane cast?

I say this for two reasons:

 

1: They seem to be developing more and more background characters oddly

 

2: Perhaps they wouldn't want to end G4 for fear G5 characters would be extremely unpopular.

 

 

It's a possibility that they don't want to take the risk of completely wiping out the mane cast and starting a new gen 5.

 

 

I'm not saying anytime soon, but do you think it might happen slowly bit by bit each season?

Whatever that is the case or not, i wouldn't really like it.

 

I think they should end it with the mane 6 that we followed for all these years and then start fresh with a new cast of characters in a new location with new possibilities.

You know what I think? I think they're focusing more on other characters now because they want to keep the series going but they realize that they've already fleshed out most of the mane cast. Not that I have a problem with it. I's nice to have a newer character like Starlight take the spotlight, to keep things fresh. I can't see the Mane 6 being ditched completely before G5.

I hope not, I watch this show for the mainly for the mane six and so do a ton of other people, and to see them be phased out would be a bit of a downer, especially if Starlight is anything to go by, they aren't doing a good job of getting to care about new characters joining

 

If they want to focus on a new cast, end FiM and make an entirely new show, leave this one be

If that is going to happen, than they should just end FIM, and make a G4.5 series or something instead.

At some point I do want the show to end. Honestly I hope after season seven they can bring it to a close. A season 10 would be too excessive and I don't think they should just get a new cast of characters with the same art style and in the same place. I think they need to drop the show, wait a few years or months and boot it back up with Gen 5. Of course with an entire new staff with entirely new art and characters and even maybe an entirely new land

Well if the show DOES end, it does NEED to tie up all the loose ends first.

I feel like the show WILL end at some point. But I don't see Gen 5 being all that far off from the end of G4; I would assume a new cast would be a given for a new generation.

 

There is also the possibility of the main cast changing towards the end of G4; kinda a passing of the torch kinda deal. Think Avatar -> Korra
