Are the equal ponies equivalents to the mane 6?

With 2 exceptions (no equivalent to Twilight (unless you count Starlight even though she's not an equal pony) and no equivalent to Fluttershy), the equal ponies seem to be equivalents to the mane 6. Night Glider seems to be the equivalent to Rainbow Dash, being a Pegasus and having a  similar personality. Party Favor is pretty much a male Pinkie. Sugar Belle may be a combo equivalent of Pinkie (the baking) and Rarity. (the pride in her work) Double Diamond may be the equivalent of Applejack, being an Earth Pony and the muscle of the team.

It depends.

If we get to see them in another decent sized roll again, we could know enough about them to come to this conclusion or not, but right now I don't think they are.
