Idea: Next Nightmare Night should be Tales from the Crypt style.

It would have a special opening similar to Tales from the Crypt going through the abandoned castle which leads up to a casket where the host pops out. The MLP FIM theme would play but it would sound faint and echoing like a haunting song. 

 

Potential Hosts:

Princess Luna who can pop out as Nightmare Moon

Zecora

Pinkie Pie

Twilight Sparkle

 

 

Then the episode does two or three small silly scary stories which also includes witty quips and silly twisted morals from the host.

It would be a very interesting concept, but Tales from the Crypt wasn't exactly child friendly. (then again, neither is Big Lebowski, Predator, Top Gun, 28 Days Later and a few other things they've parodied.)

Doing multiple smaller stories in one episode could be fun, kinda like the Regular Show Halloween episodes.

Considering how well The Saddle Row Review came out, I think it's not a half bad idea, OP.

Question is, who would host it?

^ I haven't really enjoyed any of the Nightmare Night episodes either now that you mention it. Luna Eclipse was "meh", the season 5 one was "bleh". They weren't "Bad" episodes persay, just not particularly good either :/ Am I forgetting one or were there only 2 eps?

A Tales from the Crypt/ Tree house of Horror episode would be great. I do like the holiday themed episodes so another Nightmare night episode even in normal mlp style would be nice!
