Pony music mashups

Mashups don't seem to be something Bronies do too often, and I can't understand why. I (very) recently discovered a really good mashup involving Pokemon and Lady Gaga, and quite frankly, would love to see more Brony made mashups of this nature.

What are you guy's thoughts on mashups from the community? What's the best mashup you've come across? Why are mashups so rare, and EDM so oversaturated?

There are a handful. I saw one of Eurobeat Brony's "Discord" and Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out For a Hero" a while ago.
