gaming how did you start loving kingdom hearts?

So since kingdom hearts 1.5+2.5 for ps4 is coming out, how did you get into kingdom hearts ?

 

I was at walmart one day when i was 13 or 12 and we had a movie gallery.....when game rentals was a thing lol and i went in looking around and saw a kingdom hearts game and i picked it up and noticed has some of my favorite disney characters in it and didnt know much of the other characters yet during that time so i got my parents to rent it for me got home with the big  tv in my room with the original fat ps2....and from that moment i loved kingdom hearts ever since.

 

so if your a kingdom hearts fan share your memories if you want xD

After that, however, Dream Drop Distance just set way too much of a convoluted, depressing, shark-jumpy tone for the rest of the series, IMO.

I got into Kingdom Hearts when it was first released I saw the Disney, Final Fantasy mix and just loved it so my sister bought it for me along with a ps2 then I purchased Kingdom Hearts 2 loved it, but I did not like the other sequels that followed my favorites are Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2, but I hate Kairi I find her so annoying, but I have nothing against people who happen to like her.

(I was about 6 years old) I first saw the game when my mom and I were living with a friend, The friend's son and nephew were playing KH1 in the living room and I sat down and watched them play (I had no idea what was going on though). I quickly forgot about it after though. Fast forward about 9 years to 2014 and I was in gamestop with my grandpa and I saw KH2 sitting on the shelf and had a mini-flashback to watching the friend's nephew and son play it. I got it (It being my first KH game). I fell head-over heels in love with this game and I eventually started playing other KH games. I even got this cool pic done because of kingdom hearts:

I never did and that's because I've never once owned a Sony console or handheld. However, I have watched Let's Plays of games within the Kingdom Hearts series so I do have some experience with how the story works.

I think I got into Kingdom Hearts around 2004. One of my friends brought their copy of Kingdom Hearts over to my house. We usually played the game every chance we could get. We were playing his saved data of the game and got to a certain boss. It was the Riku/Ansem fight that was before the keyhole. We kept losing to the boss after multiple attempts. When it was my turn, I almost beat the game, but my friend turned the game off on me. He didn't want to get further unless he was playing the game, but it made me curious on how the story would progress. It was a few weeks or months later that I picked up my own copy of Kingdom Hearts 1. Ever since I've played every game and became addicted to the story and the characters.
