I'm somewhat surprised this poll says that just under 60% of respondents are heterosexual. I suspect due to the discussion and ideas being thrown around here, some members are overanalyzing things.

 

Speaking for myself, while I have some asexual traits, at the end of the day, I'm heterosexual because I find women attractive.

I had a time where i thought I was like asexual, but while I am not really one to always think sexually about someone I don't think I'm like totally uninclined towards it.

 

Although I don't really base my love off of someone being sexy or anything, and sexual stuff doesn't particularly interest me.

 

Of course when I get married I'm still going to be with someone and do stuff, so I don't think in really asexual, just not one to think about sexual stuff much.

My self? I'm bisexual, no doubt about it. I've had two boyfriends, and one Girlfriend. And they were actual real relationships, we went on dates, we snuggled, we kissed, other stuff, etc. But it felt more awesome with my first boyfriend, because previously we were childhood friends since kindergarten, and he was also bisexual. So it was like having a boyfriend/girlfriend mixed into having an awesome best friend that you played video games with. And that's how we hid it, we just acted like how we always did through out our lives, as best friends. It was only when we wer alone where we... well... still acted like best friends, but with more of a romantic twist on it. Unfortunately, he had to move to Cali (across the country) and so, we cut ties then and there. I have to say though, it was literally the best relationship I've been in. Not only did I have amazing fun with this guy, but I also loved him more then anything...

I'm mostly heterosexual. I've become fixated on other men before, but usually the nature of my attraction is more "I want to be him" than "I want to be in him."
