Hey everyone. I'm 16 years old and from Venezuela, recently became a brony. So here is my story..

My whole life i've felt like i've never fit in anywhere. I've become very jaded and empty. It seems that every single community out there, both real-life and online, rejects me for some reason. 

I've always had the option of becoming a brony. I never wanted to because of the negative things people say about bronies. But hell, they say a lot of negative things about me as well, so doesn't that give me & the brony universe something in common?

I decided to look into the brony world. I haven't seen the show yet, but I've been doing some research about it and about every individual pony. I came across this beautiful pony, Rarity. I really like her personalty and she is just amazing. It makes me feel energized to learn more and more about her. 

I know a couple of things about bronies. One, is you guys practice loving and tolerating, right? That makes me feel good. I know that I won't be judged here. Hope you guys don't mind me joining the community. I have a lot to learn and I hope this ride will be a fun one!

Sorry to hear you had (and have?) tough times. I was bullied back when I was going to school, so I know how terrible it can be. Anyway, you came into the right place. Hopefully you'll be able to get some relief and freedom here. Most of people are kind here as you can see, so even if you'll encounter problems, don't give up, you'll definitely find some friends sooner or later.
