FanFic Recommendations/What's your favorite?

So I have recently finished all the fan fictions I had been reading (or waiting for updates) and am looking for recommendations. 

Tell me what is your favorite Pony fan fiction and Why? 

Typically I enjoy long detailed stories which can include only canon characters, only OCs, or a healthy mix (well made OCs). I am a little picky when it comes to fanfics and due to this I have only ever completed reading 3. If it does not grab me in 5 chapters I stop reading it. 

Plot is usually my main concern, I need a interesting story that feels important. I usually don't like splice of life or romance but they are okay if it's just an element of the story and not the focus. 

The three I have read/been reading are:

The Orignal Fallout Equestria, Upheaval and Starlight Over Detrot. 

If you haven't read these they come highly recommended. All of these are epics with greatly written characters and intense well executed plots.

Anyway I am looking for more similar stories so please tell me what your favorites are so I might check them out. 

PS: I take other Fallout Equestria stories in stride! I realize it's original popularity launched a tons of other people's stories in that setting. Due to this (without naming individuals) a lot are subpar and I generally don't read other Fallout Equestira stories. Still I suppose if you do know a particularly good one feel free to share.

My all time favorite MLP fanfic is Project: Sunflower on fimfiction. It is a long, detailed story that has overwhelmingly positive ratings. It also has a few sequels but I only ever read Project: Sunflower. It's a really good read and I highly recommend it. Other good ones I highly recommend are Past Sins and Misunderstandings. Of course this list is not exhaustive. There are loads of other fantastic ones just these ones stand out the most for me.

• Sucker For A Cute Face- Ever wonder how a FlutterShy x Adagio ship would work? 
• The Moons Apprentice- Ever wonder what would happen if Twilight failed her entrance exam and instead became a faithful student of NMM?
• The Demesne of the Reluctant Twilight Sparkle- This is the fic that got me into fimfiction. Ever wonder what would happen if Twilight was given legal ownership over ponyville and everything/pony within it?
• Canine Complications- Ever wonder what would happen if Twilight became a wolf? 
• Couchtavia- Ever wondered what happens when Octavia tries to lug a new couch through ponyville? 
• Sunny Skies All Day Long- Ever wonder what happens when Princess Celestia tries to have a day off while keeping her identity a secret?
• Dance Of The Rainbow- Ever wonder what happens when Dashie asks to borrow AJs barn, but won't tell anypony why and is trying to keep Rarity and Pinkie Pie from finding out?
