Yeah I totally agree. The Lion King was a masterpiece...but you have to give MLP the benefit of the doubt I think it definitely going to be good not on par With The Lion King but decently close

Besides, the pony movie has to be appreciated by it's own merits, instead of comparing it to other masterpieces. I'm not expecting to be as such, but if the pony movie has it's own appeal that wins the hearts of people, and becomes a cult classic at least, I'll be happy

Although I'm not exactly a fan of the show as many of you are I did have the nerve to watch the teaser trailer of MLP: FIM's 2017 movie.

It does seem promising at the very least just like how the Power-puff Girls movie was promising which did not disappoint me. So, I'm just hoping and wishing this movie doesn't end up being disappointing in the same light as the Power Puff Girls movie.

At least its not another Equestria Girls movie . Fk that franchise.

I expect that after watching the movie I'll have 2 or 3 minor nitpicks about how some of the actions or lines were out of character. 1 critique about how the art style didn't feel like MLP. And 1 HUGE annoyance  about how the ending could have been better. 

However I also expect that it'll be a good movie. Not great or amazing... Just that it will be good.

You know what I want! I want Spike to be a part of the group and help save the day and all that! As long as he gets to have chances to be awesome, and get to sing just a little bit, the movie will be success in my book!

Oh, I also haven't seen Big Mac or the CMCs in the trailer so hopefully they'll get a cameo somewhere!

What I would want to see is a scene in the final battle to win back Equestria , where Spike takes a massive hit to protect Rarity and Rarity seeing this, gets majorly ticked and starts kicking all kinds of butt.
