paganism

yeah when I was 14, was a phase. grew out of it though. but i just find it funny how much Christianity kicks off about Easter and Christmas and other smaller events on the calendar when majority of them are Pagan/Wiccan origins.  - currently in the UK news the Church of England is having a go at Cadburys chocolate for not including the word "Easter" on an egg hunt advert. >.>

those "in tune with nature" faiths are utter nutters during the Equinox and Halloween at Stonehenge. Have driven past it a few times with mass crowds. Its like a greener version of Glastonbury Festival.

Me being atheist didn't really affect me getting a paid internship at a decent company in the middle of the Bible Belt, so probably not. Although Buddhism seems to be a popular pagan religion... you might try that. :)

the paganism I practice can be summed up.

heres what I believe.

mother earth needs our respect.

Hades the god underworld judges us when we die.

Poseidon controls the sea.

That its fine to practice witchcraft.(while nobody gets hurt)

this is what I believe in as a pagan.

Interpert it however you wish.

sorry bout that I didn't convey my point clearly.

here are my true beliefs well some of them.

1:The physical world, as an emanation of the divine, is good and to be enjoyed by all living beings in love and harmony.

2: We respect and love Mother Earth as a living being, Gaia, of which we are a part.

3:The solar and lunar cycles and the cycles of our lives are celebrated. This leads to the maintenance and revival of old customs and the creation of new ones.

well I think I'm neo pagan.

sorry for my outburst had a head ache so I went to go take some asprin.

From what I've learned so far, most earth based faiths and some more older faiths fall under Paganism.  For example, Native American culture is sometimes considered Paganism by some people because it's earth based.  You can be a pantheistic(the belief of multiple gods) pagan if you want to be, many people are.  Try looking up what you claim to be, read up on it, watch videos about it(Pagan Perspective is a pretty good youtube channel).  There really is no One Way about doing things, your faith is your own Path and it's yours to walk on, it should not be something that is dictated to you by someone else.
