Woody, when he saw Techno as a Mare, started laughing when he registered what he saw. He was genuinely amused by the sight. He was looked at by several other ponies who were confused on why he was so amused, His laughter continued until Techno's cape cover his face when he forced the cape off him, the wound had healed enough to stop bleeding but there was still a scar where he got hit "Thanks... That feels much better. Will don't leave just yet they're probably heading this way so just wait on them." Woody knew that Ponyville itself was a few minutes walk from the forest but he didn't want the other 2 to get lost. Woody noticed the usual funny looks he was getting from normal ponies, even with his cap on people still knew he was the dragonequus he was. "Actually it might be better if we go to the base and make sure they didn't find it." Woody started heading to where the base was located, It was under the remnants of Twilights Tree-library.

He thought nothing of how he had frightened the little bat pony. From his perspective he was merely stating a fact of life. More aggressive eastern dragons used those kind of tactics all the time. Primrose was on a bit of a disadvantage since he liked to keep himself relatively small, but he still managed to put up a good brawl with his immensely large brethren when the time arrived. He slithered about in the air, lounging his arms and legs relaxedly after such a good fight. It definitely was good to get his draconic blood pumping with some action. 

"You think I can get few free spa trips if I help you all get these loathsome bug things out of your lands? I really don't have much stake in Equestria myself, but you ponies are definitely cute enough to lend a claw. Plus it's not like they were that tough. My uncle Fahey can bite the tip off of a mountain and I beat the living snot out of his green rump before." He chuckled aloud at that memory. Granted he had gone Greed on his uncle at the time. Still it had been worth it considering his family constantly underestimated his combat prowess. 

 

Maple smiled to Primrose "Alright I'll take you to ponyville." Maple started to walk to it before stopping and pointing in the direction she was facing "It's not far that way, only a few minutes and we'll get there." Maple wasn't sure if the dragon knew that Everfree hated stuff that was above the tree line, somehow it would hit you with lighting if you were above the trees. To the dragon, it was probably nothing of concern but to Maple, she knew to avoid it since it would fry her with one bolt. Its lethality was questionable but it would still be painful. "And about those spa trips," Maple began with a cuckle "I think that's something that could make happen." The two weren't close to ponyville but not very far either it was as maple said a few minutes

TU: So yes how I turned into a mare was a prank that was done by Ennex! Plus I'm thinking that I need to get even with him! Like I'll make him into a mare and possibly an anthro and I'll put a beautiful outfit on him!

He was being dragged down a hallway by a pair of changeling guards towards a large metal door.  It swung open, and they tossed him into the room, closing the door behind him.  The pony tried to stand, was forced to hold a hoof in front of his face to block the room's single light, which was angled to point directly at him.  

"Come on!  Let me go!" he shouted.  Nopony answered.  "I'm not a rebel, i swear!  I'd never fight against the King or Queen!  Please, you half to let me go!"  Again, all he got was silence.  The pony was getting more scared by the minute.  Ears drooped, he shuffled back into one corner.  "Please...." he begged.

He heard what sounded like another door opening, but he couldn't see past the bright light.  "Is...is somepony there?" he called out.  "Help me!"  Hoofsteps approached... 

...suddenly, the bright light went out, and the room was fully lit normally.  His eyes squinted, and when he was able to open them again, there was a blue pony wearing black glasses and a black business suit standing in front of him.  "You..." he muttered.

"Yes, me." Ennex jabbed his hoof into the pony just below his neck.  A strange energy flowed out from that spot and slowly spread to cover the pony's body.  It shifted it's shape, his mane and tail changed.  "Me, me, me..." Ennex muttered, as he pulled his hoof away.  The magic aura vanished, leaving a perfect copy of Ennex standing before him.

"Me too," the copy said with a grin...

After Ennex had done whatever he was doing a changeling burst into the room and held a letter with his name on it. " It's for you, sir. Directly from Chrysalis. I'd be wary of its contents given... what you seem to be doing." The changeling set the letter on the floor between the two and left his room but not before he added "I see what you're doing and I'm not sure I like... Best be careful... " The changeling added

If Ennex decides to open the letter. this is what it reads:

I have a matter I must speak with you on if you are too busy then drop what it is. I have a new plan since you failed at crushing the rebels in you little skirmish with them... This plan of mine demands your attention so... You have 2 choices, 1. Visit me immediately 2. Be Branded as a traitor and then treated as such. Option 2 will be chosen if you do not show within a day of retrieval and if you are reading it I know you got it.

TU: Okay Woody now Ennex is downloading his personality onto an innocent pony so they can fight for him. I think he's got a new plan.

After reading the letter, Ennex laughed.  "So, Queen Shapeshifter wants to remind me of who is in charge.  This could be interesting..."  He hands the letter to his copy.  "Go to her, and find out what she wants.  Then return here."

"And if she wants to destroy me?" EnnexCopy asked.

"Hmmm, good point.  I better go myself, then.  If things get out of hand..." he looks at his hoof "...I can always assimilate her."  Looking back at the copy.  "New plan.  I will deal with our beloved queen.  You go wander the city.  Remind the population that we are still in charge."

EnnexCopy nods and leaves, while the original closes his eyes and focuses on Canterlot.   Energy builds up, and moments later he disappears.....

As they neared closer to Ponyville a question came to Primroses mind. He looked over to Maple and lounged in the sky, keeping pace with her trot as he voiced the question to her. 

"You ponies age chronologically yes? Like you get older through the passage of time? I don't know what I'd do with myself if I had to deal with that nonsense." 

He seemed genuinely curious about the subject too, looking almost like he was lounging on a bed talking with someone at a sleepover instead of flying just above the ground. It seemed his method of flight didn't strain himself much at all, at least not at the speed he was currently going.

Chrysalis was sitting on her throne angrily. She had been staring at what her changeling had brought back, She was expected the changeling to bring back copies of the rebel plans but what they had found was more interesting to her. She kept examining the item over and over as if she'd never seen it before but she had, just not this one in particular. When Ennex appeared in her throne room she sat up. Holding up what she was examining. The changeling that had infiltrated the rebel base had enough time to search the base enough to find Maple's Element of Chaos which was now being held up by the Queen of changelings "I thought the elements of harmony were gone... So do you care to explain why THIS was in the enemy's hooves?" She levitated it closer to Ennex allowing him to see it " Believe me. If you weren't such a valuable asset to me I would've rid myself of you... you do however have some use." She waited for Ennex's explanation on why the rebels had one of the things that could be her downfall and why he didn't try to stop it

Maple seemed confused why primrose asked her that question she figured, since the dragon had never been to Equestria she was simply curious about Ponies "Yes. We do... It, indeed, can be a bit of a pain." Maple shrugged "Not exactly anything we can do about it though. You dragons age with how greedy you are right?" She asked back "I think I read that somewhere and wanted to know if it was true or not." The two of them were almost to ponyville now. Wouldn't take too much longer.

" Techno... Look at my face... I really need a minute... I need to rethink a plan. Ennex can copy himself now according to you... So I'll need to work on a spell to reverse that." Woody sighed deeply " It'll take a few days to get right... and I'll need one of the clones to test it on." Woody was losing hope on this, and rather quickly at that. He internally questioned if continuing fighting was even a good idea.

TU: Yeah we could maybe even figure out a way to change the clones back with our capes. But still it would be quite complicated to reverse the spell though.

So I guess we could release them somewhere and introduced ourselves to them so they understand that we're the good side of this battle! Anyways I've got to stick around with Maple for a few minutes while my cape heals his wounds!

"That is indeed part of the equation yes."

He slithered through the air and floated in front of Maple Bat, going backwards at about the same pace she was moving as he continued. 

"The way I've come to understand it, our size and age is dependant on the size of our hoard and how greedy we are towards it. Another factor is if we want to claim something as our hoard. I've become quite adept at controlling my own greed over the years."

 

As a demonstration, his body shrunk until he resembled a baby dragon like Spike, albeit still floating "For example, if I achieve a complete sense of generosity, I appear to be as young as a babe." His voice was rather childlike, yet had this air of zen and mock wisdom to it. Then in a flash the peaceful baby dragon Primrose erupted in size until he was even larger than his former self. His pink scaled body was now coiled with muscles, his muzzle was animalistic, and his eyes burned with fire. 

"And It can go in the complete opposite direction if I shift my perspective on things." He intoned in his new, deeper voice. This larger form wasn't even close to his full size either, but it was enough to dazzle a bat pony. With that he resumed his usual form he liked so much, keeping everything in his mind just the way he liked it. Just as he did they entered the quaint little town of Ponyville.

"That would be too easy and frankly would go against my hopes of actually SHOWING my belief that sharing love instead of taking it is much more healthier. If my fellow Changelings were to change for the better, they would WANT to change of their own free will because I'd have shown them a better way, NOT FORCED  to because of your influence!"

In Will's mind, he mentally rolled his eyes and silently snarked to himself, You know? This Techno guy may technically be our Creator, but that doesn't mean he's always does the morally right thing!

"You were the first one to befriend a creature like me, so when the time soon comes, can you help me show my fellow Changelings that sharing love instead of taking it is much more important? Not to mention that I'll soon need some love to eat myself. So if you would..." he left his sentence hanging, hoping Woody would get the idea.

TU: Yeah I ment that a number of the changelings have changed but most of them are still changing. Though for a place to leave your cape there's still me there to wear your cape and carry those changelings around!

Maple watched the dragons demonstration at first she saw the baby dragon she chucked a little, Any amount of that stopped however when he erupted in size. Maple's hoof had gone to her bow as if she was expecting Primrose to attack her. "Well... That's certainly better than just simply growing up." Maple said to the now normal Primrose. She was shaky, to say the least after seeing the much larger form "How long exactly did it take you to control it that well..." She paused as they entered ponyville after

Several ponies saw the normal sized Primrose and while they weren't acting scared many of them had started doing whatever they were doing a little faster. If the dragon was to look-around the He'd easily spot it among them. They were on edge any sort of violent reaction from the dragon would no doubt start a panic.

It was true that Woody had sorta just shrunk himself and was now resting on techno's back only his head and the end of his tail was visible from under it and it was likely Techno didn't even feel him back there. He had moved there when Primrose had grown larger, From where the trio was he was the only one who saw it since He was looking at Techno when the dragon grew he was the only one facing the right way. " I... Probably wouldn't mind... I mean if it doesn't hurt... I've never really been around changelings before."

Several ponies saw the normal sized Primrose and while they weren't acting scared many of them had started doing whatever they were doing a little faster. If the dragon was to look-around the He'd easily spot it among them. They were on edge any sort of violent reaction from the dragon would no doubt start a panic.

It was true that Woody had sorta just shrunk himself and was now resting on techno's back only his head and the end of his tail was visible from under it and it was likely Techno didn't even feel him back there. He had moved there when Primrose had grown larger, From where the trio was he was the only one who saw it since He was looking at Techno when the dragon grew he was the only one facing the right way. " I... Probably wouldn't mind... I mean if it doesn't hurt... I've never really been around changelings before."

Moon rubbed her face with one hoof tiredly. She peeked out from it, and glared at the object in front of her. Sighing, she turned away from it. As she did, she placed a hoof on her necklace. She paused and looked down at it. 

Of course this is it. After all, it's the worse reminder. Of what it was before...before...

She narrowed her eyes and put the hoof down. Sh turned around, and walked back to the spell she had cast.

Deep in the bowels of a volcano, Sombra arises. That treacherous wretch Ennex had ambushed him in his slumber, shackled and muzzled him like some hound, and cast him into lava like he was trash to be disposed of. Sombra had looked that fool in his eyes when he did it, memorizing every pompous feature on his smug face before he had committed his treasonous act. He would remember that face, because it would be the first to receive his immediate retribution. The lava had been so hot, melting through his chains and fleshy body. If he were a mere unicorn, this would have been the end of him. Unceremoniously teleported into a volcanic mountain, never to be heard from again. 

Black crystals erupted from the lava and pierced the interior walls of the mountainous formation. Smoke billowed from the crimson life force of the planet and coalesced into the head of an enraged king. He roared out, his voice echoing miles into the distance on all sides as it reverberated out of the mountainous volcano like a speaker. Anyone who was to look at this volcano in particular would be met with a shocking sight. Towering spires of black crystal erupted out of the sides of the volcano, branching upwards as it enveloped the mountain in his rage. Lava leaked out on all sides as it was ripped apart from the inside out. Still smoke billowed from its stack at the top, assuming his true, Umbrum form. 

"ENNEX!"

His voice rang out for Equestria to hear. Residual tremors from the volcanic activity and the rapid growth of crystal could be felt miles and miles away from its source. Even with the Crystal Heart, he had never felt this much hatred towards someone before. Hatred that fueled his power to greater heights than he had before. 

"I'M COMING FOR YOU!"

As he said this, the volcano imploded, visible from anywhere there was a vantage point to see it. In its place, a looming cloud of blackness and shadow remained. Shadow and smoke with the roaring face of an incensed ruler, whose glowing rage filled eyes would make even the mightiest of dragons to turn tail and flee.

The volcano got Techno's attention and he knew something bad was coming right their way...

 

TU: That's Sombra alright. How did he revive himself when he clearly died because of Ennex brutality killing him!? Well I guess I've got another enemy on me as I've always been his hard coded primary target.

I just hate to see it again" Chrysalis tossed the element to Ennex it hit the floor Chrysalis didn't care if it broke after all if it did then the Rebels couldn't use it. "If you manage to pull this off and allow me to use it... perhaps we can forget this... Little failure. " She said the last part with a hint of fury, She wasn't really wanting to get rid of Ennex. He was, after all, one of her most competent commanders. Possibly the only of hers that didn't constantly report back to her about everything which was both a good thing... and a bad one

Ennex bowed to her.  "Of course, my Queen."  He waved behind him, and a hooded pony stepped forward from the shadows of the throne room.  It picked up the element and followed Ennex back out into the adjacent hallway.  He cast one last wicked grin at the Queen as the doors closed with a *thud*.  Once outside, he turned to the hooded pony.  "Take the Element back to my tower, and begin the program to decipher it.  I will join you shorty, after running a small errand."

The other pulled back his hood, to reveal yet another Ennex-copy.  He also grinned, and began to trot out of the palace.  Ennex himself concentrated all his energy....and moments later vanished in a flash of light....

Moon groaned. She was tired of waiting. 

Surely there's something worthwhile that I could do.

She thought for a moment. "Well...I suppose I could always just come back here if I need to. Hopefully Twilight finishes soon..." She stretched before trotting over to her little 'desk' she had created. She put her cloak on and prepared to leave. 

 

Moon emerged in the fringes of the Everfree, still hidden by the trees and shadows. She changed her wings so that it seemed as if they weren't there, and began trotting towards Ponyville.

A teal and blonde background horse sat outside on a bench in the park, enjoying her breakfast salad sandwich.

I sure hope nothing dramatic and life changing happens to me today, the pony thought to herself. This sandwich is really good, I'd hate to be interrupted before I got to finish it!
