Crimson looked over at the earth pony and scoffed. "You practice that line in front of the mirror or something? You sound like some b-list comic book villain or something." She proceeded to turn her attention the dragon who was in another adjacent cell, which was certainly an unexpected sight. "How about you, big girl? Who'd you kill to get in this hole?"

Mari shrugged. "Rude, much?" she replied. "How would you know what a b-list comic villain sounded like? Unless, of course, that's your kick and you're just mad cuz of that. I happen to have been in this game for longer than you could even imagine."

There is a high pitched buzz, followed by a feminine voice speaking from the radios. "Its lunch hour, some guards will head to your location to escort you to the cafeteria." The bars opened on their own soon after the radio buzzed off, guards walked down the halls, the guards had spears attached to a belt around their waist, along with batons, they pulled out the batons.

"Come on." He said, using his baton to point out of the cell.

===================

"Oh come on! I was just getting some rest!" Zealous stood up, and walked out of his cell, following the lead of the guards, who held spears to him but no one else. "That's a bit over kill you know."

"We heard of your escape from your last imprisonment. We'd rather you not run out the doors while under our watch." Zealous looked around, noticing there was two of them, explaining why he spoke in plural. "Neither would you." The guard said, prodding Zealous' neck.

"I get it, my head will be gone if I do bad things."

===================

@Dmitry Korov

Guards approached him, he ushered him out with a hoof. "Come on, it's lunch time, I'll take you to the cafeteria."

Collapse hated seeing the guards, but she kept silent and obeyed. She also hated hearing that mare's voice over the loudspeakers. She gave the guards a dull glare, along with the other prisoners which she had no reason to talk with.

Shadow shrug at the speaker and the guards. He swooped at a guard and took their hat. He placed on his head and laid on the light

Grace was let out, but instead of heading towards the lunch room, she sneaked off and headed for the showers. She was glad that no one was in there. She took off her scarf, turned on the water and her tail became real. She flipped around and started wiping the dirt off of it

@LloydThe buzzer sounded and an armored cadre of guards began rolling in the next inmate. Strapped, or rather chained, to a vertical gurney, encased in bars, thick muzzle on her head, growling and grunting could be heard as the inmate was seen struggling against her restraints.

Finding himself in the cafeteria the guard left him to wander it, Zealous gathered his food onto a tray, then sat down with said tray, now with food on it, not making a introduction like last time he was in a prison. He looked around, wanting to introduce himself to at least a few ponies instead of being a loner. He spotted Collapse, the pony he had only talked to so far, well he did see her but he wanted to talk to her a bit more. He walked over to her, with a tray of food he had picked out earlier. "Hey, mind if I sit here?" He pointed down with his hoof to a empty spot directly across from Collapse.

Mari tossed her head in frustration, but decided that now was not the time to be defiant. Altho she no longer had her shapechanging ability, due to all the magic blockers used on unicorns, since she didn't have one herself, she still had her own magic ability as a higher tier changeling, along with flight. However, since she was stuck in her earth pony shape, it would be foolish to draw attention to herself by using either ability, as guards might guess that she was not all that she seemed. She walked out the cell and headed to the cafeteria along with the others. Of course, Mari had fed in her own way hugely on arrival to the prison. While love was the emotion that enabled most changelings to live and gain power, the higher tier changelings could draw energy and power from other emotions such as fear, anger and guilt, all of which were plentiful within the prison. Still, Mari supposed she could eat some pony food, for the taste alone, and to further allay suspicions.

Glory walked with the other guards, always on the alert for trouble, her baton out just in case. She was determined that her first day on the job would pass without incident.

She sighed.  "Fine...." she said in a mildly frustrated tone. She didn't like this pony all that much, but she sort of did understand him. She took a drink from the water bottle she had and began eating her apple.

Crimson silently complied and follows the guard out to the cafeteria. It was a bad idea to skip a meal, seeing as how they barely got enough food to scrape by in the first place. However, even though she had been there a month, Crimson still hadn't gotten used to the vile food.

The dragoness blinked, tilting her head to look at Crimson from her cell--and seemed to think solemnly on her answer, but alas, just as she opened her maw the buzzers sounded, and the guards moved to take them to the cafeteria.

And she complied, looking surprisingly docile for a dragon that stood twice as tall as the average pony. Complying without any fuss, or even a scowl on her face, as she let herself be escorted to the other room--grabbing her tray, collecting her food, and seeking Crimson out once more.

"I didn't kill anyone." She said simply, sitting down at a table. "I was charged with...Assault."

She frowned. As if such a word didn't resonate well with her...

@P-Jay

"Not proud of what you did, huh?" said Crimson as she began to eat. From what Crimson had seen so far, there were two kinds of prisoners: people who regretted what they had done, and people who had regretted getting caught. She could easily tell that the dragon fit into the former category.

@Twofer

"No..."

She furrowed her brow, and looked at her plate for a moment. "...Although, I do believe it was a mistake. I was led to believe that surprise 'glomps' was a way of expressing affection in this land. So I tried just that."

She offered a small, albeit bright smile, merrily tucking into her meal. "And I can only assume they didn't take to it too kindly, seeing as it caused a fuss, and now I'm here."

Zealous sat down, placing his tray down. "So, who exactly did you try to overthrow?" He asked eating the garlic bread that he had on his tray, then sipping the container of orange juice. "I'd guess it was somepony important to land you in prison."

Shadow was asleep when he was awoken from his stomach growling. He tipped the hat he stole up to see the place was He dropped down and walked to the dining room like he owns the place. He opened a portal and pulled a piece of raw meat out and ate that as he looked around the dining room

When Grace was done showering, she realized that she doesn't have a towel. She wrapped her scarf around her mouth and went to search for it. She walked through the hall looking for the storage room while her tail swung back and forth across the ground.

"Wow. That's it? Damn, I got put in here for war crimes." Crimson could tell the dragon was harmless. The poor girl didn't mean to do anything wrong, and at least from what it seemed, she most certainly didn't deserve to be in here.

At the mention of 'war crimes', a flash of interest sparked in Nitra's eyes. Prompting a rather serious expression as she leaned forward, tilting her head at the pony.

As if the mention of 'war' was something of note to her.

"...Really? What was your motive?"

"Motives? I didn't even tell you what war crimes I committed." Crimson wasn't expecting the dragon to suddenly take interest. She had seemed ashamed to have even been put in prison, and Crimson would have thought she'd be repulsed by the mention of war crimes.

The dragoness offered another small smile. "...War is something practiced, in my culture. In a word, I suppose, you could call us conquerors. The art of war, strategy, commanding troops...I'm an immigrant in this land, and make no mistake, I'm not here for malicious reason, and I am indeed here on a misunderstanding. But hearing of war..."

She ruffled her feathers. "...I don't condone dishonorable tactics. You can speak freely with me--I just wish to know more about you...What your goal was, regarding those crimes...What you hoped to 'change'..."

Crimson raised her eyebrow, but decided to continue "If you really wanna know, it was back during the changeling attack on Canterlot. I was a squad leader with the Guard, and we had three changeling prisoners. The Guard needed reinforcements practically everywhere, and I wasn't about to sit on my flank guarding a few POWs. So... I had them executed so that my squad could do something useful. I lied and said the prisoners had been killed the enemy. I don't regret it, and to be honest... They had it coming anyways."

@Twofer

"...Oh..."

She closed her eyes. "...I suppose that's the reason you were but a squad leader. Executed, and then taking things into your own hooves. A liability, if there ever was one. Although, your reasoning and priorities were somewhat valid."

She frowned, looking down at her plate, as if starting to think on that situation. "Not even interrogation, nor public execution to invoke intimidation. I might've understood your thoughts, had you done it in a proper manner. But perhaps the worst thing..."

"...Bias against the enemy leading to unreasonable hatred, during war. Always something that irked me so..."

"Unreasonable hatred? They were out there killing fucking civilians." Crimson looked back up from her food and over at the dragon. It seemed as though there was a bit of anger boiling in the red mare. "You can't judge shit unless you were there yourself."

She looked down at her.

"...War...In war, both sides fight to the bloody end, a conflict that spans over borders and anything that could be called sane, without a speck of humanity shown. They fight for their beliefs, their right to live, their future--and to preserve the honor of their past. In war, there is scarcely a choice. There is scarcely a moment of rest. They attacked, and I'm sure they had their reasons. And like any rational kingdom would, your kind defended yourselves against the threat. And did whatever it took, so that you may live to see tomorrow. Make no mistake, I am not condoning your actions. They attacked, and slaughtered, no doubt. And in turn, your kind defended itself with any means necessary. But I will say that I'm disappointed with your reasoning behind your actions."

"...The day a leader acts on emotion, rather than logic...Let me just be clear. I'm glad, that you were revoked of your position. For leaders who act based on bias, or hatred, is how the second war starts."

"You keep running your mouth and I might just have to shut it for you." Crimson's anger was only growing, and she certainly didn't make any effort to hide it. "You think I only killed them because I had a grudge? The city was burning, and my squad could have been helping a lot more if we weren't held down by those prisoners. Maybe you can sit on your high horse now, but you weren't there when it happened. You weren't there."

She paused, and closed her eyes. Making the softest of condescending smiles, giving the smallest wave with a wing.

"...Apologies, if my views are riling you up. I would hate to get in a fight." She said, with almost a caring tone--akin to that of a mother. "But I'm afraid my stance doesn't change."

She looked up, making a small 'hmmmm...' as she pondered her next words. "...We can talk about something different, if talking of war upsets you."

At this point, Crimson was itching for a fight. It would have given her great satisfaction to wipe the smug look off the dragon's face, but she also had the feeling that it would only prove the dragon right if she sunk that low. "Okay. Sure. Let's talk about something else."
