Jake listened to what Jillian said. He took the payment and turned to leave. <she is lying about something> he thought. He then saw Kya, and smiled at her with a raised eyebrow, "Uhh, how long have you been there?" he asked teasingly.

Jillian saw Kya, and her anger flared.

"What are you doing here, you mousy shrimp?! Get a clue! Jake doesn't like you and he never will, so quit stalking him! God! Get a life and get the fuck off my property!"

She pushed Kya to the ground and bumped Jake as she went back inside, then slammed the door.

Tears began to rush down Jillian's cheeks, and she ran upstairs to her bedroom.

She sat in front of her vanity, and glared at herself.

Get a grip, Jill... God.

Kya's hand made a sickening crack as she braced herself for impact. She yelped in pain, clutched her wrist and shakily got to her feet, assessing the wound. "Broken... Brilliant." she muttered, another week or so to raise to money to pay to get it put in a cast.

"Wasn't even on her property." she mumbled, glaring at the door, as she stood behind the fence defiantly. Kya stole a glance at Jake, blushed, and went back to trying in vain to fix her wrist.

Jakes eyes widened and he immediately went to help up Kya. "You ok?" he asked concerned. He gently took her broken hand and examined it. "Come on, I'm taking you to get a cast on that" he told her, walking her to his jeep.

Jillian watched from her window as Jake escorted Kya to her car.

Her anger flared once again.

Why did that stupid girl have to get in her way?

Jake liked Jillian, not Kya.

And she want it to stay that way.

She hated competition, even if they had no chance.

 

Jillian took a quick shower, did her hair, and got dressed in a tight pink corset, a black miniskirt and thigh high boots.

She put on purple eyeshadow and dark red lipstick.

She was gonna go clubbing.

Forget Jake and that dumb girl.

She went outside and got into her car.

Kya winced and tried to pull away, causing her to hiss in pain. "P-Please I'll be fine, I-I h-have to get to work.. " She said, her voice trailing off as she blushed and looked down as he continued to pull her along.

((Oh crap I am SCARED now... I've gotten the Great and Powerful MachineGunLola pissed.... *flees*))

"with a broken wrist? No way. Come on, you'll be better once that is in a cast" said Jake as they walked. He didn't really have any feelings for her, but he couldn't leave anyone when they were hurt. He eventually made it to the doctors and she got her cast. Jake was courteous enough to pay for it as well, using the money from his last job. He eventually dropped off Kya to where she needed to be and drove home. He passed the town club, and saw Jillians car there. Slight anger and confusion welled up in him. He had questions and only she could answer them. He parked and entered the club looking for her.

Jillian was at the bar, drinking something tropical, and chatting it up with some guy in a silk shirt.

She was bored, but at least she'd find something to do here.

Her friend Melissa was supposed to meet her here, and she was getting impatient.

Jake saw Jillian and walked over to her, a serious look on his face as he tapped her shoulder. "Jill, I need to talk to you" he said.

Jillian turned and smiled.

She was a little bit tipsy.

"Sure, Jake, ol' buddy, ol' pal. Whatcha neeeed?" She slurred, and put her arm over his shoulder, taking another drink of her tropical stuff.

Jake looked at her sternly, "First off, quit drinking so hopefully you can still function correctly, second, what the fuck was that all about with Kya? You broke her wrist you know."

Jillian laughed loudly, and put her drink down.

"Ah, she'll get it fixed.. I didn't mean to.."

She sighed and sat down on a bar stool.

"Does she want money?"

Jillian dug into her purse and pulled out $200.

"Give her this, tell her i'm sorry and shit."

Kya sighed as the Doctor finished with the cast, she walked outside, and headed to the homeless shelter.

Idiot idiot idiot idiot.. The word played itself over and over again in her mind.

"Why don't you say that yourself? And while you're at it apologize to Emma. You completely ruined her with what you did." he replied. "I can't believe I liked you when I first saw you. Guess its true you can't judge a book by it's cover" he then turned to leave, not expecting to be followed.

Jillian's anger flared up again.

"Who the fuck do you think you are, huh? You should be in love with me. I'm gorgeous and rich, and you should be glad I was nice to you!"

She screamed, running after him.

"What do you see in that Kya girl anyway?! She's an ugly, mousy, shrimp! And you're a giant! It would never work out!"

She called, and then stumbled as her heel broke.

She cursed and started crying.

Kya sighed, but instantly hid as she saw Jillian, not noticing Jake coming near the Jeep she was hiding behind.

Jake gave a frustrated sigh and walked back to her, kneeling down. "You are also rude and spiteful. I see a good young lady who needed help in Kya, nothing more. And yes. I was glad you were kind. But I was stupid to think it would last"

Kya watched the scene fearfully. "Oh dear... Oh dear this isn't good..." she said softly from behind the Jeep.

Jillian began to bawl, sobbing loudly.

"Oh forget it!"

She stood up, took off her heels, and started walking towards the door, where she saw Kya near Jake's jeep.

She glared.

"Kya, what the fuck? Are you a stalker or something?!"

She flipped her off and got into her own car, then drove off angrily.

 

She'd had a bit much to drink, and she was swerving.

She looked down at her phone, and when she looked back up, she saw that she was in the way of a truck.

Quickly swerving to avoid it, she ran off the road and into a tree.

Her head hit the steering wheel, and then everything went black.

Kya, despite her hatred for Jillian, ran to the crash, and dragged Jillian out of the wreck.

She pried Jillian's phone from her hand and called for an ambulance. As soon as the medics arrived she asisted in getting Jillian into the ambulance and stepped away as they drove off, she sighed and slumped down next to the crashed car.

Jake sighed and shook his head. He gave a tentative wave to Kya before getting into his jeep and leaving. Along the way he saw a car had hit a tree, and immediately stopped when he saw it was Jillians car. "Shit!" he cursed, she shouldnt have been driving, he should've stopped her! He ran to see Kya already there.

"It's fine Jake. I took care of it." Kya said with an edge of sadness in her voice.

She pointed at the empty car and stared at the ground meekly.

White light.

Beeping.

What the hell?

Jillian blinked.

Where was she?

 

Her mom stood by her bed.

"Jillian. You're in the hospital. What the hell do you're doing? Drinking? Clubbing? You need to keep up your appearances!"

She sighed in disgust and walked out, her heels clicking on the floor.

Jillian sat up and looked around.

Her head hurt, and her mouth tasted like blood.

Jake sighed. He decided to give Kya a ride home. Ge then drove to the hospital to go see Jillian, seeing as her mother walked out of the room.

Kya stood and began to walk back to the homeless shelter, limping ever so slightly.

She began to hum "Until the End" by BB.

She soon broke out into song.

We've become, desolate,

It's not enough,

Never is,

But I will go on until the end...
