Newbie to SFM

I want to try making SFM pony videos, but I'm a complete newbie, and I'm apprehensive about it. Is it difficult to do from someone with no experience whatsoever? Is it possible to make custom ponies (like oc's), off of it and insert them? Are there any tips I should know before getting invested in this?

I heard it's possible to make custom models into SFM, I think you need Blender for that. And for tutorials you should watch Argodaemon's videos, he's pretty much the best of the best of animating 3D MLP SFM animations. You can find his tutorials here...

His videos are some really great works in the SFM community! The number one this to remember is not to give up! Animation is a long and painful process that sometimes goes un- appreciated, and that's fine. As long as you do it for you and for fun then its worth the journey!
