Should original movie celebs have been cast?

Danny Devito and Rhea Perlman were 2 star voice avtors who had roles in the original mlp movie of g1. Would giving them roles in g4's movie have been a nice callback to MLP's roots? Could Devito have played Storm King? Or Perlman played A seapony?
