spoiler Beerus vs Discord: Would Hakai(Destruction) Work On Discord?

God of Destruction Beerus has a move called Hakai. It essentially erases anything and anyone from existence. Even works on ghosts. He is very very powerful. And yet Discord is a reality warper. So would this move work on Discord?

Well ignoring the terrible (and non canon) comic #57, for all we know Discord created his own dimension, and the other realities he created would place him at roughly universal. Discord can only be destroyed (seemingly) when he gives up his chaotic ways. I don't think Hakai would work, but Beerus could punch him a lot.

Because #57 was quite an improvement, IMO.

No evidence he created Chaosville; only that he has some kind of bond with it.

If Discord is confirmed immortal than no. After all a while back it's been confirmed by Toyotaro in the manga that Beerus cannot kill immortals. 

@A.V. I think Ryanmahaffe thinks it's horrible because it shows that Discord draws power from his realm and it would pretty much confirm that Discord did not create the realm. Since Discord draws his powers from it.

Discord is still vulnerable if actually hit with something, like how he got sick from the tatzlwurm. I'd say that getting hit by a hakai would indeed destroy him.

Except the Ogres and Obliettes is a pocket reality that merely covered most of the insides of the Friendship Castle not an entire universe. Many shows have shown the same thing. Touhou Project has Shinki and her Makai realm which has an unknown size. Digimon has Wendigomon create a pocket reality that contains a Sun. Dragon Ball Super has Hit that creates a parallel world to turn intangible. Ultra Series has Ultraman Nexus and his Nexus field. However neither of these are entire universes.

I think it wouldn't. Discord is very powerfull too, so I think it is a lost call.

as a big fan of both series: It depends entirely on how far Discord's immortality extends.

If he simply CAN'T be killed by any physical or magical means (like for DB examples Zamasu and Garlic Jr)? Then no, even HAKAI! would fail on him as Beerus himself admits.

If he CAN, then yes it would work like it would on anything that can.

Only if Discord lost his powers and abilities. Also... Prolly if he teleported, the hakai would stop working.
