For an episode Starlight Glimmer and Twilight Sparkle handle an idea of ponies wanting to swap their cutie marks.

Starlight Glimmer can take Cutie Marks and swap them between Celestia and Luna. She passed some of her tricks on to another unicorn while during her revenge seeking phase. Then that unicorn is using it to run a Cutie Mark Black Market operation or self-employed contractor for swapping cutie marks.
