An MLP Sketch

This is the biggest sketch I've done and is one of the rare times I actually colour things in. I would appreciate critique for this drawing. What I can do better and what not

Well i can't say much, because i only draw digital. But the only thing i would recommend is to start the head with a circle. Hope this quick sketch example can help you.

Good use of perspective. One note I have about it though is the water. When looking at things in the distance that are closer to the eye line, elongate them a bit. In this case try making the lake less round and more of a stretched oval shape. 

My other note would be proportions in the face. Try drawing in layers where you start with an outline of the body and add detail as you get to things closer to the viewer. ( Body outline, fur details, cutie mark, facial features, mane and tail )
