Starlight Glimmer and Trixie: My Little Pony's Comedy Duo

Since the season has started, I've been seeing Starlight and Trixie as more of a protagonistic Comedy Duo for the My Little Pony franchise, similar to

Abbot and Costello

Lauren and Hardy

Laverne and Shirley

Bulk and Skull on Power Rangers

Pinky and the Brain

Ren and Stimpy

Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert

The recent episode "To Change a Changeling," really put them both in as that Comedy Duo, and I wouldn't mind seeing them more in this light.  Especially when Season 8 rolls around.  

What about you all?  Do Starlight and Trixie make a great comedy do in My Little Pony?

Yep, I like the characters both as a duo and stand-alone. They both bring something new to the show. Trixie being a "good" guy in her own way and Starlight being a reformed villain. I would love to get more episodes with those two.

its pretty nice. We had a pretty cool duo, and it was pretty funny. I also had to block six militant fans because they were ticking me off

I still believe they have no become by far the best due-dynamic in the show as it stands. With Starlight's tendencies and Trixie's good guy egotist they just complement each other so WELL. They are funny, and yet intriguing and I can't wait to see how they develop in the coming seasons.

While both can be very funny, I still sometimes find Trixie to be annoying and Starlight to be boring, and there are other pairings which I tend to find funnier more often.

One thing that I want to see them do is outwit the Flim Flam brothers.  The only problem is, how to set this up to have the epic duel of the season?  Maybe the Flammers do something that destroys Trixie's Stagewagon, and nether brother wants to apologize for the accident.

I think that would be fun, but I also think that the next time they go on an adventure they take Maud.  I'd love to see Trixie and Maud interact

The episodes with them together are kind of refreshing. Also, as annoying as Trixie can be sometimes, she is one of my favorite ponies.

Starlight and Trix have great chemistry. Starlight's persistent insecurities are well complemented with Trix's personality of "I'm reformed, but I'm still a bitch and I know it "

This two can act as a breath of fresh air at times with the use of sharp wit and the back forth of them.  Which is nice to see this kind of pairing being used as they are to carry on some humor in the most dramatic moments.
