I just realize that Despite the fact that Josh Haber has written 3 two parters and a movie, he has never had a villain to call his own, Midnight Sparkle was a one-off thing at the end of Friendship Games, and M.A Larson originally wrote Starlight and Meghan originally wrote Chrysalis. Josh Haber did pretty good with both Chrysalis and Glimglam in my opinion, and while he seems to be a more controversial writer, I still think his track record is more great than bad. I really enjoyed Friendship games, the Cutie Remark is my favorite episode, To Where and Back Again is pretty good as well. One thing I think he does very well is character interactions, which is something that is usually very fun to watch with villains. He also was able to make Chryalis feel creepy and threatening, and Starlight feel imposing and powerful. Thinking of this makes me actually excited to see what he and Nicole Dubec do with The Pony of Shadows (if they really are the writers, which everything is pointing to them being the writers)

For all my Haber editing issues ... I actually think he does a fine job writing. More than that ... I think he is going to mesh well with Dubec. She has a decent pedigree and I adore her work in other shows, especially how she handles intelligent Machiavellian villains like Grand Admiral Thrawn. 

I'm probably as hyped for this as it can get for a non wish list episode.

I have a really good feeling about this finale, Haber has done a great job writing villains so I am excited to see what "his" (and Dubec ofc) villain. I just hope its a Cutie Remark then To Where and Back Again

Also it has my favorite 2 parter title yet, it's ominous makes me curious, titles obviously aren't an indicator of quality but they always had somewhat of an effect on my hype.

While I'm not overly fond of Haber's track record as editor, many of his episodes are high to top tier. Not to mention he feels at home with characters that aren't the traditional heroes

He also is really good at writing Twilight and Spike going off of the season 5 finale.

Oh, that's easy. Have discord clone her a few times, then squish one, and congratulate the remainder. Repeat until you run out of Chrysalisen....
