I take it we mean actual eating/ingesting and not like... sexual eating. Such as... "eating dat a**" so... uhm... I am going to say, no. I wouldn't eat Alicorn. I would assume while it might give you enormous magical power, it will come with a curse. But as for regular horse meat, I'd only eat if there was no other option.
