Which is why when I meet new people I tend to have low expectations of them. Doesn't always work though, I have to have high hopes when I train new people only to watch them turn into a lazy slacker. I disappoint people sometimes myself and I hope others will be understanding when it happens. Everyone tries, that's the bottom line, and that's what matters. Like not that they will be a terrible human being, but if we become friends they will not make time to hangout with me whether I invite them somewhere or them inviting me somewhere. Of course, I don't let it get the better of me and still try to make friends and still invite them to places, but you know. Of course when other people start making plans or saying things like "we definitely have to hangout" I start to expect things, but usually am disappointed in their reliability. That is a fact that I had issues with coming to terms to up until recently.
