I just saw Shadow Play.

I'm putting my metaphorical hat in for Styg.

Love the dude. I might even be able to voice him in projects.

That feeling of turning to darkness for comfort when you've been spurned.. it's eerily relatable.

The legends of magic comics have been exploring the Pillars and Stygian's journey to find them. There's only one more left, and he's brought all them together.

 

This is a good reflection of his nobody-ness and the falling out to come.

He can be a Pillar like he wanted and be Starswirl's assistant.

There really aren't too many new artworks of Stygian in the last while. A lot of the time I search on deviantart but it's just so much fan-made offspring which I'm honestly not interested in.

I did find some things though.

Some art with some interesting imagery. If you rotate the image 90 degrees to the right, the Stygian bit on this image becomes horizontal, and it looks... much snugglier.

At least I thought it did.

Or I thought I could see myself with him.
