Equestria Girls coming into Equestria

Didn't know whether or not I should put this in the EG subforum but oh well :smug:

(The following is assuming that all EG content is indeed canon)

I was just wondering, what would happen if the Equestria girls all went through the gateway and landed in Equestria? Would there just be two copies of each of the mane 6? Would they appear to be physically different? 

Also, what dictates whether or not a pony has a counterpart in the human world? If the Equestria girls universe is really a parallel universe, then that means that each character in Equestria would have a human counterpart. But, why isn't there another Sunset Shimmer, or a human version of Starlight Glimmer? Is there something that I'm missing? Can someone help explain this to me?

They would be kinda copies, except maybe glasses or hair. There is a human Sunset and a human Starlight. They just don't live in Canterlot.
