Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,907 November 3, 2017 Share November 3, 2017 John, mostly because it just seems like the epitome of generic. Johnathon is fine, I like of the sound of it, Johnny as well is okay, but more often than not the shorter, far more bland version is used.
Kaneki 1,073 November 3, 2017 Share November 3, 2017 Anything really generic sounding, though everyone has a different opinion on that, so it's however you think of that. I wanted to make the joke on Family Guy how "Keith" is the least sexiest name, but I couldn't find the clip of it. xD

Windchime 184 November 4, 2017 Share November 4, 2017 (edited) Miiildred. On a related note, my own last name doesn't roll of the tongue as smooth as I'd personally like it to, but Celestia forbid I ever bring this up to my family. So let's tell strangers instead Edited November 4, 2017 by Windchime Forgot the 'first' part of the question halfway through thinking about what I was going to type. Welp. This is a odd thing to read. Ok, my late wife was named Jessica. She actually disliked her full name too. She preferred Jess or Jessi. She had such strong feelings about it that she would often correct someone when they would call her Jessica by saying ... "It's Jess ... just Jess", or "It's just Jessi". It became a running gag ... hence @Just Jessi was often used as her internet username.

So its stuck as a bad thing. No one calls me Jessie but my family. I also see a lot in films or TV where Jessica is usually the name for stuck up rich brats. Prospekt 11,021 November 6, 2017 Share November 6, 2017 Matthew or Matt. It's actually my real name but from kindergarten to high school I was around so many other people with the same name and it just began to get annoying. Though during junior year of high school a few other Matts and I used it to mess with a teacher by always sitting together. Le Trotteur Sauvage 13,053 November 6, 2017 Share November 6, 2017 Unfortunately, anglo-saxon names are really not well seen and are often used to descrive stupid people. On tele reality show, they all have name like Bryan, Kevin, Steven, Kimberly, Ashley, Betty, Brandon, Fanny etc... I'm sorry if your name is in that list, bit in my country, that's how the things are.
Catpone Cerberus 23,697 November 6, 2017 Share November 6, 2017 Finnish name 'Taavi', it doesn't really have translation to English, but it sound something you would call a baby in my opinion. And though I don't really dislike my name, I hate one fact about it. My name is Finnish version of Michael, and to show how popular name it is.....if I count people I know, people my friends know, and random passer-by mothers calling for their child, I know at least 40 other people with the same name, and one with not only the same first name, but also the same surname. And I live in relatively small town. “Cats!” “Cats!” “Music!” “Cats!” “Cats!” “(^・ω・^ )ノ” Ask me something! https://mlpforums.com/topic/139270-ask-the-cerberus/#entry4129993Signature by @Stevonnie
