Denim&Venöm 16,271 November 14, 2017 Share November 14, 2017 I know I do. Cause that leads to the garage. Leaving out the front means going around the rest of the house. How about you? Find yourself leaving out your back door more often than the front?
cuteycindyhoney 13,282 November 14, 2017 Share November 14, 2017 The recycle bin is by the back door, so I go out that way when I have stuff for recycling.
King of Canterlot 9,588 November 14, 2017 Share November 14, 2017 Well, I can't leave out the back door even if I wanted to because my house is built on a hill, so our slider only goes out to a deck several dozen feet in the air with no staircase down to the lawn. BlueStreak98 828 November 14, 2017 Share November 14, 2017 When I lived at home I usually left through the side door. My apartment doesn't have a back door, so that really isn't an option here.
Nerdy Luigi 2,064 November 14, 2017 Share November 14, 2017 I used to leave from my backdoor, but I don't now because it's jammed.
SparklingSwirls 21,261 November 14, 2017 Share November 14, 2017 Nah, my back door goes into my backyard, so I would just have to walk around to the front of my house anyway
Lil'Cinnamon 1,587 November 14, 2017 Share November 14, 2017 Well at the new place I live at we always use the back door because well.. First the cars are back there, and the garages, and the front door of this place is warped so we don't like using it. So we go out the back door that leads to a balcony that goes to the garages and the parking area. I live in a little triplex kind of thing, where there are two units under me and we all get the whole top floor. So yeah we use the back door usually. Not the front. The other people that live in the other units also use the back doors more often too.
Ashen Pathfinder 16,151 November 14, 2017 Share November 14, 2017 Pretty much; yeah. The back door leads to where the vehicles are parks, so that is the common point of exit. The front just leads to the yard.
Snow Frostflame 3,567 November 19, 2017 Share November 19, 2017 As a kid I would go out the back so I can hop our wall and save me about 4 minutes of walking. Now I can't do that because my backyard is surrounded by other backyards. It also leads away from where my car is so I really have no reason to go in my backyard. StormBlaze 991 November 20, 2017 Share November 20, 2017 in my old house yeah, but it was more of a side door that lead to my Dad's office extension and the driveway. It just lead into teh kitchen which was like the heart of the house, there was always someone in there (animals included) or the utility room next to it. The front door is more for show anyway. Current house I use the front door, because the back door is our garden with a gauntlet side passage thats over grown and full of spiders this time of the year. Retro*Derpy 3,077 November 21, 2017 Share November 21, 2017 I've only went through my backdoor to smoke. Just leads to a porch. Granted, I'd like to have a door directly leading to my room.
Narcissus 352 December 7, 2017 Share December 7, 2017 I live in an apartment with my cousin and it has no back door. Otherwise I'd always be sneaking out the back way.
Phosphor 11,522 November 4, 2018 Share November 4, 2018 I almost always go out the side door. My carport is on that side of the house.
Dreambiscuit 7,931 November 4, 2018 Share November 4, 2018 My apartment is on the second floor and doesn't have a back door. I have a balcony, but if I tried leaving that way I'd have a long drop to the ground. So no, I think I'll stick with the front door and bypass the fuss of broken legs and assorted contusions. Midnight Solace 5,128 November 30, 2018 Share November 30, 2018 Glad to know I'm not the only one. I do it because I most people can see me when I come out from the front, and then they would know I am gone and my house is vulnerable to robbery. I'm paranoid over stuff, I don't know. SkyPie 259 November 30, 2018 Share November 30, 2018 I have two back doors, a sliding one in the middle room and one in the laundry room. They both lead out to behind the house and I never have a reason to go out there, unless I want a little exercise by going around to the front to get to the car or garbage cans, which I don't. They're also not as easy to open as the front door.
EpicEnergy 22,012 January 23, 2020 Share January 23, 2020 The cars I drive are parked closest to the back of my house, so I usually leave my house out of the back door.
Lucky Bolt 34,912 January 24, 2020 Share January 24, 2020 Nope, we leave out the front door. The driveway and our vehicles are there. Our back door leads out to a lanai and beyond that our backyard.
Totally Nyx 35,408 January 24, 2020 Share January 24, 2020 Our drive way leads around to the back door, and the front door leads to a deck, so I always leave out the back door.
Venomous 18,813 January 26, 2020 Share January 26, 2020 Never. That would require me to walk through the backyard, go through our fence, close the fence door, walk to the driveway, and get into my car. Too much unnecessary walking lol.
ZiggWheelsManning 7,070 August 21, 2022 Share August 21, 2022 No, because the wooden stairway would be too loose and unsteady to step on
