I don’t know about the rest of you but Equestria need a queen and I think only 1 alicorn would make the best Queen... Princess Luna because she can connect to most ponies and protect their dreams. She can also help them get Throw doctor times in the life from her past experiences this is why I believe Princess Luna should be the queen of a Equestria.

With a nation as large and populated as Equestria, It makes more sense to have more than one ruler.

Take America for example, We have 50 states and a bunch of territories and over 300 million people. We have a president, Trump in this case, Congress and many other branches of government totaling well over 1,000 people.

Now Equestria isn't as big as America, I'm assuming. But for them, it's easier with two rulers, than just one.

ALSO! When Equestria is attacked, there are four princesses to help out leading failure that is the Equestrian military. If they had one ruler, the nation would have fallen by now.

As much as I love Princess Luna, I don't think she's fit to be a ruler such as a queen. She's too mysterious and complex.

The thing that makes Luna so strong in character is the fact Celestia seems to be the ruler and the more powerfull one. They need each other, but none of the two is better then the other.

Let's say Equestria does find itself in some situation where a queen has to be crowned. Whatever plausible reason you can think of. I think it's far more likely that Celestia would be the primary consideration since she had already taken care of Equestria on her own for ~1,000 years. Princess Luna coming back is certainly important to her, but she hasn't shown much affinity for ruling modern ponies in the way a queen would, and if there's to be a queen, there can only be one queen and she would have to settle for princess regent or duchess. Given her tendency to jealousy I think she'd not only make a poor fit for queen, but it puts her in a position that highlights her weaknesses more than her strengths. For Luna, ruling side-by-side with Celestia as princesses can keep them in the same league of class and regality without diminishing either's abilities or value to Equestria. They rule in harmony, and harmony is what Equestria is all about.

Celestia would obviously be the better choice. She was able to rule Equestria alone for a thousand years while Luna could barely do that for a single day.  And Luna's job with protecting people's dreams can't be that important, since everyone seemed to be just fine during said thousand years.
