What Are Your Other Favorite Acting Roles of the Friendship Is Magic Voice Cast?

One of my favorite smaller roles was Mark Acheson, the guy who voices Tirek, plays that guy that drinks syrup with Will Farrell in Elf during the mail room scene. He was also pretty good as Unicron in the Transformers Unicron Trilogy if anybody remembers that series.

Maryke Hendrikse, the voice actor of Gilda and Sonata Dusk, plays Revy in Black Lagoon which is one my favorite voice performances of all time, though going back to Black Lagoon after watching Friendship is Magic, made watching it a lot funnier due to all the swearing.

One of my favorite voice roles of Ashleigh Ball was as Blythe in Littlest Pet Shop.

Maetel in Galaxy Express 999 has an incredibly sweet/soft and motherly performance by Kathleen Barr who is the voice of Trixie and Queen Chrysalis, that I've always been fond of.

Here's the Scene from Elf with Tirek's voice actor

I've lost count of all the great performances by Tabitha St. Germain. She is so versatile.

Tara Strong is awesome as Raven in Teen Titans. Also as Timmy Turner in The Fairly OddParents.

Kelly Sheridan voices Sango, one of my favorite characters in the anime InuYasha.

Richard Ian Cox (the voice of Snails) voices InuYasha.

Kathleen Barr voices side characters Kevin and Marie in Ed, Edd n Eddy.

And Peter New voices the vast majority of male characters who appear in Littlest Pet Shop.

Wow, I didn't know that guy from Elf played Tirek.  Neat.  Also, what are those animes starring Tabitha?  I'd love to see more stuff with her in it as she seems like an absolute pro of a voice actress.

Nicole Oliver played Mei Lin from Cardcaptors, and I didn't know that until she came to the 2nd BronyCAN.  Otherwise, Tara is pretty much the only VA whose other work I'm familiar with.  She has had way too many roles to list.  Well, it's possible to list them, it would just take a good while, and would probably fill up one of Twilight's scrolls.  I'm a gamer, so aside from MLP I know her most as Harley Quinn in the Batman Arkham games and as Paz in the Metal Gear Solid franchise.

It would be Shannon-Chan Kent (Silver Spoon and the singing voice of Pinkie), who was Christmas Eve in the Arts Club Theatre version of Avenue Q. It's mostly because I found that out as I was listening to the soundtrack of Avenue Q.

Obviously Tara Strong is the one I'm most familiar with. Let's just mention Bubbles from the Powerpuff Girls and Terrence from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends – I think those two show how incredible her range is.

The others I don't know as well, as most of their roles are in Canadian cartoons which I haven't watched that much. I've seen a few, though. Cathy Weseluck voiced Chadd in Generation O! (where I think the voices and music were generally better than the show itself) The voice sounds pretty similar to Spike, but I was already impressed with her performance there – though a lot of voice actresses voice boys, I think she's one of the most convincing. And Rainbow Fish (one of my favorite cartoons as a kid) shared at least half of its voice cast with MLP – I think Chantal Strand and Andrew Francis did a great job considering how young they were back then.

How'd I forget to include my favorite Tara Strong roles? Oops uhh :D...two of my favorite Tara Strong roles were probably Raven from Teen Titans and Killgore from My Life As A Teenage Robot, if anybody remembers that show.

Sadly, I haven't watched that many Canadian shows, and by extend, Canadian VAs, plus I didn't pay much attention to the voices back then. I can mention some, mostly recent ones:

The Biskit Twins, Littlest Pet Shop by Shannon Chan Kent:

Their clumsy and petty attempts of rich bullies, and their valley girl thingy make them like.... totally hilarious

Betrayus, Pac Man The Ghostly Adventures

Most remember his role as Edd from Ed Edd n' Eddy, but I mostly remember him is this hilariously immature and incompetent villain, and Sam Vincent nails it

Matsuda, Death Note

FLASH SENTRY, YOU IDIOT  . Vincent Tong showing his natural youthful enthusiasm on a young, inexperienced, and mostly incompetent cop

Pinky, Pac Man Ghostly Adventures

Dashie, with a squeakier voice. Nothing more needs to be said

My other favorite Tara Strong roles are "Harley Quinn" & "Barbra Gordon/Batgirl" from "Batman".

My other favorite Tabitha St. Germain role is "Roberta" from "Black Lagoon".

My other favorite Maryke Hendrikse role is "Revy" from "Black Lagoon".

There's a cute kids cartoon called Kid vs. Kat that used to air in Canada and I've actually seen bits of it on the internet. Not surprisingly, since it was made by Studio B Productions (which is now DHX), most of the voice actors would go on to voice G4 ponies.

Oh yeah, while her role as Kat was minimal, Kathleen Barr made great sounds for him, specially the laugh. That reminds me I forgot Brian Drummond as Vegeta. while I've watched DBZ after Funimation took over, no one can forget Mr Cake's over 9000 meme :D . Still, I have the pleasure to announce that we are getting an interesting treatment on these part with DBS dub, specifically, Vegeta's purple clone. Christopher Sabat will still voice Vegeta, but instead of hiring him for the clone as well, we are getting a nostalgia porn by hiring Mr Drummond to voice the clone
