Yes, but I was specifically talking about the USSR in WW2.  Yes, though; Russia was an Entente member, until it exited the war in 1917.

I’d really rather talk about WWI than WWII. Mainly because how much everyone talks about WWII

Over 70 million military personnel

9 million soldiers dead,7 million civilians dead. It was brutal.

I feel bad for everyone in that era that participated in it.

Ah well, you know how it is. History is largely filtered though the lens of what those who won want, themselves, to believe was true.

Still, subjectivity is king across all but the "hard" sciences, and the "hard" sciences aren't much better. The universe was built to mess with us - it literally just does stuff at random a bunch of the time. Even Mathematics, as pure a science as it gets, looked good until Gödel came and broke it...

You know what’s sad during wwi?

the British and Germany had a unofficial treaty during Christmas Eve. That’s not the sad part,the sad part was after Christmas.Since during Christmas they sang,drank and got to know each other,the practicality became friends that day.The even played football! Just imagine killing your own friends that day
