Nah, something like this can't be ignored. This is one big friendship problem here. If the show can't do it, then the comics have to do it. Someone has to. Way too many opportunities are getting pushed aside on this show, and I'm getting sick of it. The Manehattan CMCs, Lightning Dust and Wind Rider return, lots that has to do with Spike, I can go on! 

All these can lead to some very interesting friendship morals, and not only that, NEW TOY IDEAS FOR HASBRO! I would LOVE a Hasbro-licensed G4 Scorpan toy! Everybody wins in the end! The writers get their friendship mortals, Hasbro gets their toys, we get the characters we've been desiring for a long time, and unanswered questions are answered! I don't understand why this is so hard for the show to do! They make it seem more complicated than it is!

Maybe he'll be in a one part episode. They could start the transformation with Discord, so why not.

Many of S9's vectors were leaked, and it usually takes about a year before the animation is complete. Won't shock me if the scripts for maybe the first five or six episodes are complete and beginning production very soon.

 

Remember scripts go through revisions and don't assume the rules that applied for seasons 1-8 will apply for the final season. Final seasons are usually the ones where the rules get changed.

Plenty of the info is already confirmed.

Leaked vectors show a resurrected Sombra and several characters infected by Sombra's dark magic. I don't know how the plot will play, but Karnak may be on point.

Secondly, this show has never been that lighthearted consistently. There have been many dark moments and dark episodes, dating back to S1. A Health of Info may be the darkest episode of the entire show.

Quite the speculations right there though ones that I am in favour of mainly due to the presence of Grogar. He was always seen as one of the best villains to have ever appeared in generation one of MLP so to see him being given a modern incarnation is definitely exciting. Also, we know of his presence thanks to Twilight telling that one story to all those fillies in "A Flurry of Emotions."

There is absolutely no way Tirek can get reformed in the season 8 finale without his brother. Only Scorpan can do it, and there is no way they can fit him in the finale with all that's happening. This has gotta be a season 9 episode then.

Dark moments sure, but this is looking to be an all encompassing season long arc. This is DS9’s Dominion War.

I’d be fine with a 2 parter, but if the vectors are from episodes 2, 4, and 5, that suggests more.

Just for clarification, that wasn't a mural; it was a statue of Tirek and Cozy Glow, the new antagonist for the S8 finale. It doesn't necessarily imply that Tirek is going to be reformed. When I first saw it, that wasn't even my first thought. I actually had thought it meant that Tirek and Cozy are going to be defeated and possibly petrified into a stature.
