Airports you have been through.

I don't travel to many different places. When I do it's within driving distance. I'd usually prefer to fly. Often times when one visits a certain city or town by flight, it's sometimes for a connecting flight. So I was wondering which particular airports you have been to, like, dislike or have any experiences in.

I've been through:

  • Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport
  • San Francisco International Airport
  • Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport
  • Chicago O. Hare International Airport
  • Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport
  • Albuquerque International Sunport
  • Pittsburgh International Airport
  • Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport
  • Houston - George Bush Intercontinental Airport
  • Madison - Dane County Regional Airport
  • Milwaukee - General Mitchell International Airport.

I've only been on three airplane trips, so this shouldn't be too hard for me... Or so I say. The last time I rode on an airplane was in 2005, so bear with me.

  • The one in Tulsa, Oklahoma
  • The one in Dallas, Texas (or Houston? I don't remember!)
  • The one in San Antonio, Texas
  • The one in Los Angeles, California
  • The one in Chicago, Illinois

When I went to Washington D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland I honestly can not remember which airport I arrived at for that trip.

I have pretty much no opinions over them because it's been over a decade since I've even visited any of them except for the Tulsa Airport which I do find nice because it has private single-use bathrooms. Super important to me! The rest of them I don't remember, like at all.

Too many to count, my dad is a national financial adviser for HSBC so he flies to all 50 states on a nearly weekly basis- and will sometimes take me and the rest of my family along for his trips (we get to sight-see and relax while he has to work and go to meetings). I was 3 when he started bringing us with him for some of his trips, so obviously there are many, many airports I have been to but simply don't remember because I've just been to so many

._.

About 20 or so by the time I was 16. I spent seven years working for Ford Motor Company and would fly out once or twice a month to various Regional offices and Dealerships throughout the US. I lost count a long time ago.

I've not been through that many given how I rarely travel these days, but back when I was younger, I did go through some airports though I can't remember some of them on account of only going to them once or being too young.

Gatwick - London.

Heathrow - London.

Calgary International - Calgary.

YLW - Kelowna - With this one, I've only gone there to see family off.

An airport in Toronto - Back in 1995.

An airport in San Francisco - Back in 1994.

An airport in Tenerife - Back in 1986.

An airport in Florida - Back in 1987.

Lemme think... Atlanta, San Francisco, Birmingham (AL, home airport) Denver, SeaTac, Houston, both major Dallas airports, Huntsville, Memphis, Nashville, Chicago (ORD), Vancouver, Newark, Las Vegas, New Orleans, and Los Angeles (LAX) ... literally all of them in order to travel to pony cons.

Denver and Vancouver are quite nice, SFO is pretty nice as well. Las Vegas and LAX are probably my least favorite thus far. Huntsville and Birmingham locally are surprisingly nice, especially Huntsville, though it's ungodly levels of expensive. Atlanta is alright but I hate actually getting to it. I usually fly out of Memphis and Nashville for cost reasons though; neither are worth writing home about but they get the job done I guess.

I've been to a couple of airports, though I don't remember a lot of the names. Most common one I've visited is Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

As for other ones I remember.
Salt Lake City International Airport
Los Angeles International Airport
Oakland International Airport
Baltimore-Washington International Airport

My memories of certain airports are as such:

When I first landed at Chicago O'Hare, my family and I had to exit down the ramp of stairs instead of the jetbridge due to the plane being too small. Walking on the airfield to get inside was so noisy and loud. I didn't enjoy that part. But I did like the architecture of the tall arches of the concourse.

I've been to Truax Field in Madison often because I once lived there. It's not big but I like it.

Albuquerque Sunport, I've been to many times as well since I now live in New Mexico. It's got an adobe or pueblo architecture to reflect the southwest.

Phoenix Sky Harbor is interesting due to it's location right in the middle of Downtown Phoenix. Most airports are located in outskirts of the cities.

Bush Intercontinental has that interesting statue of Bush Sr. and a bio of the former president.

Dallas/Fort Worth has that Skylink that takes you from terminal to terminal.

I've never been in a plane. :maud: I've visited Daytona International Airport before, as well as Orlando International Airport, but I've never flown. :(

Oh I forgot to mention I've also been to Jacksonville International Airport and the one in Tampa, also I might have been to whatever the one in Chicago is called. I was really little though.
