Chrysalis's smile grew a little, feeling even more hopeful "Yes please do send word of my thanks and also tell them I would like to meet them at their earliest convenience. If they accept you may lead them to me. Thank you for the news this old mare feels better for it."

Cherish bows "I shall tell them post haste my Queen, but shall I wait for you to sign the letter of truce and reformation?" she asks sheepishly "With it, the Princesses can offer extra protection" she explains and sits down, "From what I have heard, one of Lunar's Knight Guard captains is Lady Arcania and Ser Indicus' foalsitter and is smitten with litlte Faith"

Chrysalis takes the letter and summons a quill and inkewell. "I will sign, I have no further grudge against Thorax or Equestria though I will stay content with my usual methods of feeding." Chrysalis signed the document officially ending the conflict between herself and her followers, Equestria, and The Changeling Kingdom. "Here you go that should take care of that."

Cherish smiles as she takes the scroll 'I am sure that you can take shelter at Lady Arcania's, or the guild" she says and bows before returning to Arcana and Indicus' house. She knocks on the door "Hello?"

Chrysalis thought about the idea for a moment as Cherish left. "Hmm, I might do that it would let me be near my daughter, have access to plenty of love letting me regain my strength and I will be very safe living in the same home as a very skilled assassin."

 Arcania's home

"I'll get the door Arcania." Indicus announced as he walked up and opened the door the sight of Arcania's friend Cherish greeting him "What can I do for you?"

Cherish smiles "I have found my Queen, she is safe for now, but in need of love." she says, fidgetting a litlte "She is however very grateful you took her nymph in and agrees with the name, she has also signed the scroll" she says, handing it to Indicus "Please get this to the Princesses post haste" she says and bows before giving the nymph a kiss on the nose, a hug to Arcania and then leaves.

Indicus closed the door and went to his chest of belongings and pulled out a large jar of dragon fire opened it up and put the letter into the magical flame, closed the jar and placed it back in the chest. "There Luna should get the scroll shortly. So should I go find Chrsysalis and bring her here or just retro fit one of my safe houses for permanent residence. What do you think Arcania?"

Arcania smiles "We can expand the house here, it will give her time to be with Faith and I'm sure we've enough love to help raise her back to good health" she says and hugs Cherish "thank you Cherish, you have no idea how much this means to me"

Cherish smiles "I think I do, my Queen is alive, that's what matters to me"

"If Arcania is okay with it then I can go bring your queen here Cherish, if you don't mind showing me where she is." Indicus offered not wanting to take the time to risk Chrysalis getting found alone somewhere with just enough energy to stay alive.

Cherish nods "This way please, she's in the forest" she says as she begins leading the way while Arcania sat with Faith in her arms.

Meanwhile, Celestia recieved the letter "Luna, we have the scroll"

Indicus followed Cherish through the forest while he habitually glanced around watching for any signs that they were being followed. Once they reached a inconspicuous cave Indicus gave one last look around the area before continuing to follow Cherish.

 

Luna looked at her sister and took a look at the scroll, "Good this will make things easier."

Cherish then motions for him to stop at the entrance of the cave, before going in and bows "My queen, I have given the scroll to them and they sent it right away, also ser Indicus is here to escort you to their house. They agreed to have you there so you can be with Faith and to help raise you to good health"


"I shall get into contact with Thorax" she says and sends the scrolls

"Come in Indicus." Indicus complied walking through the door and was greeted by the sight of Chrysalis. She looked skinnier than she should have he could even see a couple ribs through a tear in her dress. Crysalis recognized his look. "Times have been difficult and pure love is not very plentiful in Manehattan so I have subsisted on things that are less then ideal."

Indicus processed what Crysalis just said before speaking, "Well lets get out of here then but first you should eat." Chrysalis was the provided with the largest source of  love she had seen in a long time, she forced herself not to eat too much too fast knowing all to well  that she would make herself sick and tire out her savior.

"There, thank you Indicus your gift is much appreciated I owe you and Arcania a debt I don't think I can properly repay." Chrysalis noticed that Indicus while not exhausted did look a little fatigued from the feeding. 

Now ready to leave Chrysalis walked towards the exit with Indicus following close behind. The sudden light forced Chrysalis to cover her eyes. The walk to Arcania's home was quiet with Chrysalis feeling vulnerable. She was still weak and near useless if a fight broke out and she was all to aware of being hunted like an animal. 

Indicus found Chrysalis grasping his arm as her eyes darted around. Once they reached the house Chrysalis seemed to calm down a little. He could only imagine what going from a powerful queen to near starved and weak was like.

Cherish gave her some love as well "I know Lady Arcania, my Queen, she is a trustworthy mare" she mentions to her and smiles a little, supporting her weight "come now, we won't be much longer"

Meanwhile Arcania just rocked the litlte filly in her arms and sighed softly

Like Cherish predicted their destination was in sight moments later and before too long they had arrived. Indicus opened the door and lead Chrysalis inside setting her on the couch. Chrysalis was memorized by the sight of her daughter a tired smile on her face and tears in her eyes as she leaned against Indicus who was sitting next to her. Indicus took the time to look over Chrysalis checking for any wounds.

Though Chrysalis not worried for her life anymore decided to have a bit of fun. "Liking what you see Ser Indicus?" 

Indicus did not register what Chrysalis said for a second as he inspected her for injuries finding some through the holes in her dress that seemed to have reopened recently steadily leaking the green blood of changelings. Once Indicus registered what Chrysalis said a blush adorned his face. "Wh-what? I was just making sure you were uninjured! I found a few areas where your wounds reopened."

"So a yes then?" Chrysalis continued.

Indicus's blush deepened as he recalled some cloth bandages and alcohol to clean the wounds. Ignoring his flustered state he started using a cloth to clean the wounds.

"Wow I must say Miss Arcania your stallion moves fast." Chrysalis smirked wincing occasionally as the alcohol stung her.

Indicus ignored the comment.

Arcania giggles "You're telling me, we met by pure chance that I threw my blade in frustration in any direction and just narrowly misses him. He then proceeded to retrive it out of the tree, hand it back to me, pick up my basket and then escort me home" she smiles "And then when you left little Faith here, he was all for taking her in and caring for her"

Cherish sighs happily "You're going to be alright here my Queen, I ca nfeel the love pouring out of these two" she says then nuzzles Arcania "By your leave, mistress?"

Mistress smiles and nuzzles back "Of course, take your pay from the vault"

Chrysalis raised an eyebrow, "Wow such the gentlestallion no wonder he caught your attention." 

Indicus at last finished cleaning Chrysalis's wounds. Now came the time for stitching the deeper wounds together a task possible thanks to the fact Chrysalis seemed not to put her energy towards making the chitin covering her body hard, most likely due to lack of energy to do so. 

Starting with a numbing spell Indicus started stitching together the three deep gashes that were apparently just sealed with changeling gel. The motions were made with practiced ease that came with putting yourself back together.

"Well Indicus never took you for a field medic." Chrysalis commented to distract herself from the sensation of the needle.

"I've put myself back together after fights plenty of times after taking a lucky arrow or a stab that hit between my armor. Speaking of that I'm surprised you did not bleed out with these wounds" Indicus replied focused on his task. 

"Changeling gel is a wonderful thing for patch ups."  Chrysalis replied.

Arcania smiles and watches as Cherish leaves "Mm he's one of a kind really, and hte first pony other than the guildponies who didn't run away at the sight of me" she says softly and kisses his cheek "I'd be a fool to let him get away" she says and smiles, cradling Faith "Not to mention, he has knowledge of Arcane Magic, Alchemical Magic and Primal Magic. Not many ponies in these parts has that kind of knowledge these days"

Chrysalis nodded, "Yes those magics are lost arts in this age."

Indicus shook his head, "My knowledge on them is not very expansive you know." 

Chrysalis rolled her eyes, "The fact you know they exist is a rare thing in Equestria."

Indicus shrugged, It was several more minutes till he finished the stitches and then pulled out the cloth bandages, "Well now time to wrap you up." Indicus could be seen blushing as he realized what he would need to do so he could bandage Chrysalis."W-well bandaging you will require you to let me move your d-dress out of the way so it doesn't get stuck on because of the blood." It was obvious he was not used to playing medic to females 

Chrysalis was quite amused at the assassin's sudden nervousness it was apparent he could be awkward around mares he liked and with Arcania around he felt he might have well asked to undress her in front of his marefriend. "Go ahead I this dress is trash anyway, shame too I liked it." Chrysalis used a small portion of her magic to take the dress off leaving her in her undergarments. 

Indicus started to wrap the more severe wounds including the three on her torso he stitched. "There I'm done." 

Chrysalis smiled, "Thank you, not everyone would play medic to the infamous Queen Chrysalis."

Arcania smiles “like I said dear, he’s one of a kind, come with me, you look to be about the same build as me, I should have some dresses that will fit you, though..maybe a shower could help? I can help if you’re not strong enough” she suggests with a smile and gently hands Faith over to Indicus

Indicus took Faith and started rocking her back and forth.

Chrysalis smiles and nods her head, "A shower sounds wonderful and the help would be appreciated." Chrysalis carefully got up being sure not to aggravate her wounds . "I'm ready lets go."

Arcania smiles and leads her to the bathroom, “once we figure out a disguise and story for you, I’m taking you to the spa” she says as she gently takes Chrysalis’ torn dress off of her and leads her into the warm shower water “now, I’m going to need to scrub your chitin”

Chrysalis stepped into the shower "That is fine my chitin should be more akin to skin right now. I have not had enough energy to form armored plates or I would not have these wounds." Chrysalis sighed enjoying the water falling onto her body washing days of dirt and grime off of her.

Arcania smiles and nods as she begins to help Chrysalis wash herself "You know, I don't know what my Cherish told you about me, but I'm a bit of an outcast due to my...practices" she says softly "So you won't find any judgment from me, nor from Indicus either" she smiles a bit more "and Chrysalis?" she asks "thank you, for entrusting us to care for your nymph, she is a precious little one and just helped bring us even closer together"

"I knew about you status as an outcast it is part of the reason I dropped my nymph here. You were the only one I could think of that would take care of her.." Chrysalis laughed, "I never thought that my choice would lead me to getting help. I expected to eventually be found and killed by these hunters. Once more the help you and Indicus have given me is a debt I am hopeless to repay."
