Team Captain Voting Thread Group 1-4

In an effort to make up lost time this topic will run concurrently with the Wild Card. As we have completed half of the teams thus far, each team will have a team captain. Team Captains are important because they will help set the visual theme and style of the team, and it's a hell of a lot easier to say "Team Twilight" in some casual communication. 

But, there is another reason for it. As we wrap up the Wild Card round, fans of specific teams will be able to "adopt a team". You will receive specific perks and will actually be able to Trade one existing team member for any member from the bench or farm system. Each team can have multiple managers so that you will need to work out a consensus on if you trade or stay with the team. 

Bench = Characters who were eliminated during the Wild Card. 

Farm = New characters introduced in Season 8. 

More specifics will be revealed later, but you need to know now, because the Team Captain that the community votes for CANNOT be removed. Obviously, strategy starts to come into play here as some may try and vote for a weaker captain to lock that player in.

We are starting with two teams a day but some days you will see more. Your selection will have a strong influence on the team as we enter the World Cup.

These votes will be super interesting, because the criteria each voter uses will vary. Will people simply vote for their favorite, vote for the character that seems the most captain-like, or use some other reasoning entirely? I'm not even sure how I'll approach this myself lol

The choices are pretty obvious. Zecora is wise and has leadership potential, as we saw in one of the alternative timelines. And Celaeno already is Captain!

So, I voted for Octavia and Chrysalis.

Yes! Zecora ended up winning in the poll she was in. She deserves so much more love than what the show gives her and I think this concept will give her that attention. As for Chrysalis winning... I think it was an obvious victory for her.

I'm a little confused on some aspects, but nevertheless this seems like a rather interesting idea. 

I voted for Daybreaker, as I enjoy the concept of her and think that she would make an interesting choice as a captain. I also voted for Fluttershy, which I'm a little biased on.
