I've played the original trilogy, Donkey Kong 64, Returns, and Tropical Freeze, and among all of them, DK 64 is my favourite. I know that sounds weird considering how infamous the game is in some circles, but it's one that I enjoyed immensely with the exception of the final boss.

I've only played the first Donkey Kong Country on SNES and Tropical Freeze but oh my god I loved the original so much. I need to possibly go back and play it sometime.

I've played through the SNES trilogy and I briefly played Donkey Kong Country Returns. They're all pretty good platformers, but I agree with the general consensus in that I think the second one was the best.

I've never actually BEATEN it, but I love DKC 3. Kiddy Kong is absolutely adorable and I hope he'll finally reappear in a game one day...
