WHERE WE LAST LEFT OFF: RARITY HAD JUST DEFENDED TOM FROM STYGIAN, AND NOW WE SEE HOW KING SOMBRA HANDLES THE ENCOUNTER

 

For my gratitude, allow me to be of some assistance to you when your round is u-

 

Pardon me, mister Sombra sir, but my corrupted self is, unfortunately for you, not in this competition.

Wait, how can this you exist when you’re right here?

Oh my, well that’s just the way this competition works! The forces that be have allowed for alternate versions of others to exist for the time being.

See over there we have Fluttershy and Flutterbat,

there we have Starlight Glimmer and Snowfall Frost, her storybook counterpart,

and here is my sister and I guess her alternate dimension twin...hmm, not really seeing too much of a difference there.

Anyway, it seems that the any of our alternate selves have the possibility to show up here,

but when we don’t have a place for them we just throw them back.

Do you think we can take a break soon? I think our round is coming up?

 Not yet Twilight, now keep the line moving!

*sigh* next…

Oh, yes that’s right my round is coming up next, so I must be off to make the perfect dress for the occasion.

A rock that featured in 2 episodes ~7 years ago being in position for a guaranteed spot is both the best and worst (but mostly best) thing about this competition xD I love it
