Why are the bronys a growing breed?

I don't really understand what you mean by this question.

I wouldn't say that we are growing. If anything the fandom has shrunken since 2013

I would say this to a point. It's more of stagnated rather then just dying off.

Show is far from growing and I hate to tell you but the next season will be the last.

Maybe, but I wouldn't count on that until it's confirmed by something other than leaked emails that may or may not be fake

Wrong. We are not dying, we have just shrunk a little and kinda stagnated, we've lost the popular culture part of our fandom is all, as it's not mainstream anymore. I think that we'll continue to survive well into the future, even with the massive show changes coming :proud:

Was this stated in an interview or is this just your intuition?

Eh, considering everything else from those leaks came true, I see no reason to believe that season 9 won't be the final season. It's better to accept it now.

Like most people here said. The fandom is more shrinking than growing.

I feel sorry for all those who haven't experienced the golden age back in 2013.

You mean prior to 2013. 2013 is when the fandom had a ton of meltdowns over stupid stuff like EQG and Twilight Alicorn.

I joined the herd in April 2013 and it's had its ups and downs. NEWS FLASH: Every fandom does and it's not worth making such a big deal over.

Yup, thus why it was hilarious when the fandom had a huge meltdown twice in a row over nothing. I sat back and laughed.

By every countable metric the FiM fandom has contracted since its peak. Web traffic, content creation, con attendance, viewership numbers, etc. This isn't to say that the show is worthless, or that continuing to be involved in the fandom is as well. It simply means that others have grown out of it, and slowly drifted away. Happens all the time. From my perspective, I don't measure my enjoyment of the show by the numbers of others who participate in the fandom. There are plenty that I can still interact with, and since there are only so many that I can have a legitimate conversation with and still function as an adult, its contraction has had no effect on me whatsoever. Since I don't need validation to make me feel better about likely something, I can sit back and enjoy the conversations when they come, and enjoy the show when it airs. That brings me to another point.

And yes, the show is likely over after one more complete season and one final movie. That is perfectly fine. All good things come to an end, and they should come to an end. Just because that happens doesn't mean that one has to stop interacting with other fans, and that certainly doesn't mean that one needs to never again enjoy the show.

I never really cared what happened in the fandom.

What i mean was more the time when the fans were the most active/creative.
