Yesterday - slightly different take on English Christmas cake, never had it like this before - with nuts & glace cherries topping (instead of icing sugar & marzipan) - and very nice too...

Today, using up the last of the turkey as a sweet & sour str-fry, with a chopped sausage, tomato, courgette & red pepper, noodles...

The last of the Christmas pudding & custard, then later, a Mr. Kipling apple pie - note - the '30% less sugar' version ones have a much better flavour than the 'standard' ones, which changed a few years ago. These have more of the classic Bramley apple taste, which is, after all, what an apple pie is all about surely? Don't start messing about with the recipe! It ain't broke!

Can't blame Silky this time sadly. I've always liked chocolate. It's just chocolate milk that I find overrated.

Using up leftovers – the other half of the chicken slice / pie thing, last of the buttery mash with some horseradish sauce mixed in, roast parsnips out the freezer, steamed brocolli, Bisto gravy with a teaspoon of garam massala added to it, Hovis wholemeal bread, Himalayan pink salt, black pepper, tea .....

Afterwards, Mr. Kipling apple & blackcurrant pie, & a M.r Kipling apple pie (30% less sugar).
