I had some hamburger steak with mash potatoes and gravy  :fluttershy:

That sounds so good!

Last thing I ate was, well, a dose of cold medicine a few minutes ago.

I had some homemade sugar cookies my family decorated with sprinkles and icing for Halloween.

(edited)

Cheese sandwich & a Kipling apple pie.

(Before that, egg & cress sandwich & a Kipling apple pie. Except they're not Kiplings, but copies by Heritage. Which taste much better, like Kiplings used to do, IMO.)

Home made popcorn in my handy air-popper! No oil or salt. Some garlic and pepper though. YUM!

That was hours ago. It's almost 3:30 AM now! I better go to bed, or make something for breakfast!

A cake donut from Target. I’m so glad they brought the back, they’re so soft!

I am not sure how many people are familiar with the Popeye's chicken sandwich hype, but I did end up having one of them today and... oh dear, was I unimpressed. :pout:

In summary: the bun was too damp for my tastes, the chicken itself was very good, but had far too much crust and grease, the spicy sauce was lovely, and the overall size of the sandwich was too large. I actually do somewhat like Popeye's chicken from time to time, but I was thoroughly unimpressed with this item. Perhaps I merely bought into the hype too much.
