Would You? - Richard Swift

This is great. I'm not always impressed by retro-sounding soul music, as a lot of artists fall on the same kind of soul as opposed to branching out to the soul styles I love more such as Motown, Philly Soul, etc., but this is darn good. Definitely a megaton of Motown influence and early 60s there, which makes it very unique.

I've been on a Miami Vice kick since last October. Overall aside from three or four episodes the show holds up. It helps that the way it was filmed & the music contributed to it feeling like it takes place in its own 'Miami Vice Universe'. Only unlike most Marvel films the shows a lot more grounded in reality (for the most part). At any rate this version of Jan Hamnmer's Crockett's Theme is pretty good.
