MLP, LGBT, values and morals conflicting?

This has been something that’s been bothering me long before Hasbro put up their “Pony Pride” banner on Twitter, in favor of the LGBT community, and perhaps started when people began to ship Lyra and Bon Bon simply for breathing the same air. Since then, these two ponies have been implied, even by the show staff, to be canonically lesbian horses, along with Scootaloo’s Aunts, apparently. With beloved animated series such as Avatar: The Legend of Korra, and Steven Universe focusing on same sex relationships, I eventually saw MLP do the same, and due to my Christian upbringing, I have to say, it’s severely unsettling, though hardly not surprising.

 

As morals and virtues decline in the world, what’s good is constantly being thought of as bad, and what’s bad is seen as good. This is because we are born sinners, our inclination is toward bad. (Psalms 51: 5- Look! I was born guilty of error, And my mother conceived me in sin (Or “And sinful from the moment my mother conceived me.”)/ Genesis 8: 21- for the inclination of the heart of man is bad from his youth up / Romans 7: 14- 25- For we know that the Law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin. For I do not understand what I am doing. For I do not practice what I wish, but I do what I hate. However, if I do what I do not wish, I agree that the Law is fine. But now I am no longer the one doing it, but it is the sin that resides in me. For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, there dwells nothing good; for I have the desire to do what is fine but not the ability to carry it out. For I do not do the good that I wish, but the bad that I do not wish is what I practice. If, then, I do what I do not wish, I am no longer the one carrying it out, but it is the sin dwelling in me.

I find, then, this law in my case: When I wish to do what is right, what is bad is present with me. I really delight in the law of God according to the man I am within, but I see in my body another law warring against the law of my mind and leading me captive to sin’s law that is in my body. Miserable man that I am! Who will rescue me from the body undergoing this death? Thanks to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So, then, with my mind I myself am a slave to God’s law, but with my flesh to sin’s law./ Isaiah 5: 20- 24- Woe to those who say that good is bad and bad is good...Woe to those wise in their own eyes)

The LGBT+ community try to justify themselves ans their actions of same sex relationships as “them being born that way”, but it’s all due to sin, which we are born with (caused by the Devil), and being allowed to decide for ourselves what is right, though it’s far removed from God’s own purposes. (Proverbs 14: 12- There is a way that seems right to a man. But in the end it leads to death)

(Deuteronomy 1: 15- 17- “See, I do put before you today life and good, and death and bad….If you listen to the commandments of your God...by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his judicial decisions, then you will live...But if your heart turns away and you do not listen...you will certainly perish….I have put life and death before you, the blessing and the curse; and you must choose life so that you may live)

So yeah, I’m bothered by the gay agenda push in my pastel pony show, for sure. I don’t like it. I don’t care for it. But sadly, I know that so long as wholesome values are skewed in the world we live in, it’s not going to change for the better, sad to say.

To say that LGBT support and morals conflict is to say that being LGBT is amoral.

Congratulations, you have once again proven you're a bigot worthy of no respect. Know what that God you love so much also says: love thy neighbor, judge not others, etc. All things you're doing right now.

Maybe the reason you're a miserable man is because you exude hatred and contempt for others who have done you no harm. This site has no place for bigots.

th-thank you... i had an idea that was the case, but.... it's just so strange seeing this sort of thing in the community after all this time... i-i thought they had all left to hate on the next newest thing(s).  the... strangest part, is how he talks about 'christian belief', when... a good number of my friends are also christian, and don't mind this at all....

i-i don't personally understand the whole 'god' thing, though... my practise follows entities that aren't sentient, so...

b-but from what i've been told and what i've seen... i-i don't know how comforting it is to know so many fall under christian.....

True, the Bible advises us to love our neighbor/ others. I'm not hating on the people, don't get me wrong. It's not even about the people- it's about the lesbian horses, if I hadn't made that clear. I'm shunning the sin of homosexuality.

In now way did I say that I did represent the community. I'm not spewing hate on anyone, I'm expressing how uncomfortable I am with ponies and lesbian ponies. There is absolutely NO need for childish and petty namecalling. Or am I not allowed to voice my opinion on the subject?

People are born homosexual, science has proven this beyond a reasonable doubt. Thus when you shun homosexuality you are shunning their existence.

That book also at one point said wearing two different kinds of fabric was a sin, and that if you hit your parents your hands were cut off. Here's what I love about people like you: you hide behind a book that you clearly don't even have much understanding off to justify being a terrible person and then pat yourself on the back like you're a good person. Then you throw a fit when people don't listen to your book that you yourself don't even listen to.

You literally just said homosexuality was a sin and an abomination. That stretches beyond cartoon ponies. If that's honestly how you feel, then I can firmly say that anyone with even half a brain cell would be glad for you to leave. How dare a franchise support homosexuality, something which isn't a choice. Christians that follow the bible to such a point that they will shun anything even remotely related to homosexuality are a joke. The bible also says:

Deuteronomy 22:10

"Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together."

So plowing a field with an ox and a donkey is a sin.

Deuteronomy 23:1

"He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD."

Literally meaning if you lose a testicle or your penis you go to hell. So anyone with testicular cancer goes to hell.

 

Deuteronomy 25:11

"When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets: Then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her."

AKA: if a woman grabs you by the balls, cut her hands off.

This... I will never understand this. Homosexuality is not a choice. So please let me ask: If homosexuality is a sin, why would it be something that just happens and is not a choice? This would mean that people are engineered from birth to commit the sin, which just doesn't make sense.

leviticus 11:7-8 talks about how you cannot eat pork, or touch a football (pig skin)
