How often do site Admins change?

Lately I have been seeing more retired site Admins around so I was wondering How long they usually stay for?

Retired site admins, do just mean staff in general? Not everyone becomes an Administrator since there are Global Moderators and Sectionals like myself.

As long as they can and want to.

The range is extremely wide, some staff members retire within a month, some stay for years.

It depends on how busy their real life is, how they feel about the forums/MLP etc.. If they won't be able to spend enough time on the forums or if they'll simply get bored of MLP, they're considering retiring. It's mostly their own choice.

There's also that possibility, that one can abuse his/her powers and 'get fired'. 

So it's impossible to give a straight answer, as it depends on many things.

They stay around for long periods of time, I don't know if they have been changed out since I joined here. They stay for quite long I would imagine, because they are excellent at what they do.
