I've noticed, that I'm unable to give any reactions to newcomers anymore. That is, users with the "Blank Flank" rank.

The button is simply gone, even in posts to which I reacted already.

Is it intentional? :ooh: Or did Jeric break something again? aYrWlzd.png Just kidding

I don't see that being mentioned anywhere, so that put me in confusion.

Just tried to give reaction and it seemed to work for me at least

if you mean that after some time the reaction remove button goes away I think it has been like that  always

I was actually trying to address a specific issue and it impacted all Blank Flanks. I corrected this late last night. Sorry about that.

I noticed this as well. Just to add to the discussion, can Blank Flanks react themselves?

They were able to give reactions.

I just joined, and I have no clue what a reaction button is :p

A reaction is... basically your reaction to a post/comment etc..

The most obvious example is the "like button" in many services. Nowadays it tends to be turned into a reaction system, where you can pick various emoticons to express yourself in a quick way.

For example, if something made you laugh, you can select a laughing emoticon to express that.

The reaction buttons are located in contents like this:

Brohoof stands for that standard "like", where all the others have a specific usage and currently do not count towards your reputation.

What is reputation?

Community Reputation represents the total number of received brohooves (likes). It is a purely cosmetic feature and does not grant you any bonuses.

Some users tend to use this number to estimate how friendly and popular the user is, but it doesn't really work that way. ;)

You can find that number in your profile:

or in contents themselves:

Hope that helps! :ticking:
