Advertising normally requires Admin approval. That hasn't changed, but we have some allowances that are common sense. Notably for those that share or create content in Octavia's Hall, and those that want to link their Discord servers. 

If you are an MLPF Commission Artist, you now have a bit more freedom to advertise on MLPF.

It should be also mentioned that YouTube videos and channels you create are permitted in Octavia’s Hall, in status updates, in blogs, and contextually you can link to your videos you have already posted in the above areas should there be a topic that is relevant.
