I started watching it somewhere in 2013, either before or after the release of the first Equestria Girls movie. I forget when in 2013 it was I started. 

And I remember my very first episode was All About Time.

Why stop watching the show after your cousin called you gay? 
That only shows that you're insecure about watching it, or rather having others know you watch it because you're scared of being judged for it.

May 2017, I will always remember then because of it. I loved the show and I started to fall out of the fandom for a bit betweet like sept 2017-Jan 2019 until I got back into watching it and the fandom.

During the 2nd year in college,  a group of bronies got me into the show, BEST DAY EVER

Someone I knew in high school introduced me to the show freshman year and I watched a couple of episodes, but I didn't like it very much. Last October though, my sister started letting me use her Netflix account, and I decided to give it another try. I'm glad I did, though I'm way too embarrassed to tell anyone irl.
