@Dynamo Pad

Evening had broken faster than she'd originally anticipated. In the stillness of the warm-colored prelude to dusk, Widdershins hoped that the sound of wooden wheels on cobblestone wouldn't upset anyone who had left windows open, during supper. The mare had trudged out of Everfree Forest like an unsettling omen, toting her wares and worldly possessions in the small wagon that she drove.

All the better, she supposed, to set up late and be fresh and bright, in the morning. The darkly-colored tent was set up along the edge of Ponyville and, while there were certainly a few stragglers out and about at this time of day, the lot of them seemed to leave her to her work of organizing crystals, counting candles, shuffling tarot cards. She hadn't been to this town in quite a long time, and she couldn't help but observe what were likely the quietest hours of the day with an appraising, almost envious eye. Things were so peaceful here. Ponies with cozy homes and cozy beds, eating warm meals with family and friends.

...Nonsense. Malarkey! She ought to be grateful for what she had, she'd tell herself. She had an ornate rug to splay down in the tent to keep her off the ground, plenty of pillows to make it cozy, and at least a few apples to tide her over until tomorrow. Then she just needed to work her magic, tell fortunes to wayward souls, peddle a spell or two, and she could look forward to a nice, hot meal of her own. "Maybe I should ask the cards," she mused aloud, "what kind of business I should expect, tomorrow. Business owners? Vengeful rivals? Lovers, pining away?" She scarcely believed anyone was paying attention to her train of thought...

As evening had begun to make it's appearance in Ponyville, the doors the to the gaming arcade had promptly opened. From the doors, a blue unicorn had begun to make his exit as he was done playing games for the day. This unicorn was known, as Dynamo Pad. He had begun working at the arcade after moving to Ponyville about half a year ago. He was told that Ponyville was the epicenter of the video game industry, but in reality, Dynamo just wanted a new change of scenery. He waved to his boss, while telling him that he'd see him tomorrow. The blue unicorn gamer always loved working in the arcade. Always testing out new games that had just been released, meeting new gamer's, helping in fixing arcade machines or helping out ponies, who were stuck in levels. All in all, he was glad to be in the peaceful, yet busy town of Ponyville.

As he walked the streets of Ponyville, Dynamo had begun to notice that other ponies were beginning to set up shop. He didn't blame them as it was starting to get late. The only light available to see were the glow of the moon and some lights to illuminate the town. Even in this time of day, it was warm, yet the cool breeze felt peaceful. He looked around in wonder if there was a place to get himself something to eat on the way home. 'I suppose Sugarcube Corner could be a good place. It's right on the way and not too far from my home.' He thought and nodded in confirmation of what his plans would be. He began to move at a brisk pace, so he could make it there, before the shop would close. As he trotted along, out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a darkly-colored tent. He wondered why would there be a tent in Ponyville. That is, until he noticed a pony with a whitish, gray mane and tail organizing her belongings.

He couldn't help, but raise an eyebrow in wonder and confusion. Everyone had just closed up shop for the night, but it seemed this pony was doing the opposite. He soon began to hear the mare begin to speak her thoughts out loud. He couldn't help, but chuckle slightly as he would talk to himself on more than one occasion. Deciding to change his destination route, the blue unicorn began to make his way to the mare's tent. It didn't take him long to reach his destination, but he coughed to make sure in grabbing the mare's attention. "Excuse me? Is everything okay? I noticed the set up table, but I'm not sure if you've seen that everyone closed up for the night. I also heard you speaking to yourself and I admit that I've done that, as well. Is everything okay?" He asks in hopes that he wasn't intruding.
