I am not diabetic but one of the current medications I take causes low blood sugar levels. I have to ensure that I carry around snacks and glucose tablets. It’s a pain in the ass.

UPDATE: I am off of that medication.

I do not have diabetes, and I try to do things that make getting it less likely, e.g. going to the gym and eating less sugar.

Not really, my family has a history of it and high blood pressure as I have heard though, so I gotta watch what I eat every now and then. Getting some exercise in too.

I have had Type 1 for quite a long time now. I am doing quite good though, so it is not bothering me that much.

As far as I know, no. But one of my great uncles has it, and my other grandfather had it until he passed away.

Not yet, but it runs in the family, so it's likely. Not now of course, but in the future.

Not at the moment but I worry because both my parents had type 2 and it’s hard to keep my weight down now that my metabolism is slower. I used to be able to eat anything and not gain weight but that’s definitely over.
 

Two cousins have type 1 but that’s less genetic than 2 I think. I know in one case it was an autoimmune reaction, her body attacked itself.
